Claimmed that she was a "Daemon" first and therefore she could not be also one... This nonsensical complains heavily affect her reputation very negativelly making her loose a lot of subs and at the same time made the new vtuber, that barely noone knew, famous and victim of bullying so lot of people subbed her... which is exactly what her insecurity that leaded to this awful act tried to avoid... ironic

Designs and memes aren't exactly comparable. Memes are basic concepts, they exist in a vacuum, you can't exactly steal a meme because it does not belong. This is not true. Innovation makes creations valuable. And anything with value can be stolen. There are thousands of accounts farming views and making money off of stolen memes, art and other digital products without even crediting the source. There are people good at creating stuff. And there are people good at selling stuff. If both collaborate, they can make good business together. But sometimes people good at selling stuff just steal it to increase their profit, while the person who created it can't even pay the bills. Copyright was invented to protect creative people and keep innovation going. And memes can and are copyrighted all the time.
Memes should evolve. I saw someone create a meme to promote a stream they were doing later that day and someone copied, word for word, their meme that same day. The Slylily thing is another example of aiming for a one-to-one copy, not an evolution. It's ok to be inspired and borrow some ideas, but if you can't add or evolve the idea, you're just going to become the MCU of vtubers.
