It is one of the most relaxing RPGs to come out in full version this year. The cut scenes are so over the top, it adds a uniqueness and charm and the devs are super welcoming to feedback :)

If you call dying relaxing, then Dave the Diver is the most "relaxing" game. YOU DIE soooo often. LOL
I downloaded the demo the day it dropped and pre-ordered the full game once I beat the demo (the same day). The hype for this game is not overblown

after playing the demo version, I am addicted to play this game. really like this kind of game, been playing dredge for now and yes I could add dave the diver to my switch

I have a PC, but this is a game I want to play laying bed or at the beach. I can take some performance issues. The demo was a total blast for me, so I'll buy based on that.

just seems like something funner while sitting on the couch with a switch or sent to tv, vs pc.
I think there is a memory leakage problem on the switch. On longer dives you seem to have a large chance of having an error shutdown that loses you all the progress of that run.
Been looking forward to this game. Will for sure get this after I finish mario and spiderman
They fix the framerate? I downloaded the demo earlier on and and it felt like it was running at sub 30 and the input lag was intense. Already bought it on PC but if it runs like that I'll just play it on my Steam deck

Maan I really wanted to play it on the switch, but such loading times are horrendous for my mood when I just want to chill. Thanks for the heads-up!
It does feel like they could spend time designing better onboarding and tutorials during gameplay. It's not polished. And the Switch load times are long enough for a pee break. That said, it's totally worth it and very addicting.
This game is great, played the demo then pre-ordered. Played an hour before work this morning and I can't wait to play all weekend!!! Loading times are besides the not explaining the menus better pretty much my only gripes.

I think I'll wait for the Series X or PS5 version. The loading times and 30fps should be better.
You’ll be waiting a while given the switch version was announced at launch and only just released and the last time a team member commented on the other console releases was a few weeks ago and it was a: Don’t rule it out in the future, but right now they’re are no plans for it. Which essentially reads as unless Microsoft or Sony reach out and offer us a load of support to bring it to their consoles it ain’t happening.
Ofcourse it is. It was Day 1 purchase for me after watching some streamers play it on PC
Loading times are a real bummer, I'm going with the PC version.
My thing is if you can get any game on next gen console, go for that. I keep my switch for nintendo exlcusive titles and things that I cannot play on next gen consoles.
nah , i prefer the handheld for indies. The switch is the go-to for all games apart from those exclusive to others,

@@garyazzopardi fr the switch is like Gameboy DS on CRACK. Wher else could u play Dave the diver portable besides a modded PSP or something. Even if u have a PSP a PSP doesn't have full dual anolog sticks with full vibration rumble feature. Switch is a dream console
I remember playing the demo, and despite the idea being sound, I found the controls were too… rigid and like there was lag (with button presses). It’s been a while so I can’t completely explain examples, but it felt bad. And I think one of my load times was nearly 30s. Recorded a clip and it just barely fit. That was like 1/3 or 1/2 the time I spent diving. Way too annoying to put up with. I’m guessing you can extend your dive time as you progress, but that probably takes a fair amount of time to upgrade.
The loading times are real pain i play the game atm...

I pre-ordered and it downloaded for me automatically the other day. Says release date is today but unable to play it yet
@@mark250 yeah I’ve got it downloaded I just can’t actually access it yet! The store says 25/10 but online it’s saying the 26/10! Recon we’ll be waiting till tomorrow!

I've heared things about this old pixel retro-style diving game and that game looks so nice defienitily I will get this for Nintendo Switch too because I'll play more Switch than Pc.
