    LOL, I just put in my order for Lost Ruins, Dune and Concordia yesterday. I've been waiting for all three for a while and it was the first time they were all in stock at the same time.

    Thank you I love your reviews. Easier accessible. Good chemistry. Good production quality and most importantly great insights. Very suitable for me as a casual gamer. I wanted to buy this game and now I changed my mind 😅. Now gotta find the next thing I want to buy

    Honestly guys. I pulled dune out and put it away before finishing for a 3 rd time and as much as I want to like it I just don’t. I think lost ruins is way more fun and forgiving. So many times my playing partner and I got intrigue cards and was like meh. For me this is much better and a lot less limiting. Have you guys heard about Genotype yet. I like it better than dune also. Really enjoy the channel. Thanks guys. 👍

      Forgiving is a good word to use for Arnak. It's a very linear game and there won't be any surprises good or bad. Dune on the other hand... You never know what you will get or what other player are hiding and it's a confrontational game. So it comes down to what type of gameplay you enjoy more. We can absolutely see that a lot of people would prefer Arnak. We haven't tried Geneotype, but you got us intrigued! Will check it out!

      I like dune more exactly because of that. Until The last turn it’s anyone’s game. I think only once in many games we had a clear winner before the last round. And it’s a good feeling when you find out your enemies plan and ruin it by using the spot he wanted

    Good review guys, I strongly agree with overal vibe that Arnak is really well put together game with lot to like. However, it seems to lack some excitement in any of fields. And I totally disagree with Janis that it is for exploration lovers, personally I find guardians meaningless and locations just another variation of available resources.

      Would you agree with the second point tho that it is for "Exploring gamers" meaning not good as an Intro game, but for someone who's played Intro games and looking for the next thing?

      @@BoardGameHangover 100% agree with the statement, too many gamer-familiar concepts implemented in easy manner, but srill way too many for total noobies.

    Could you guys make a video or some other content with all The games you rated as must have; or at least those from 2022?

    Interesting. I think most people have switched opinions from you between this and D:I. For the record, I think I prefer D:I as well.

      It might come down to the accessibility that we mentioned. Arnak is more visually appealing, easier to show and teach other players and the theme is more attractive (unless you're a Dune fan).

    Have you guys played with the expedition leaders expansion? If so, how would that increase or decrease your rating for the game?

      @@BoardGameHangover Heard it improves it, planning on buying it since it’s on sale, expansion is not on sale though. I feel I’ll get this to play with the wife & then ease her into Dune Impirium 😂

    • @BoardGameHangover
      @BoardGameHangover  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's quite complex for a new player. Would not recommend starting your collection with this one.

      @@joaquincaceresguibovich3182 I'd go with Wingspan or Everdell, both are very accessible to new players. I prefer Everdell, but Wingspan is a little lighter on the rules. You can't go wrong with either of them though. (they do not have the deck building mechanicy like Arnak, but are worker placement games with heavy focus on resource management, i.e euro games).
