One of my favorites, Paul. I sang this to my babies as a lullabye for years. Maybe they an sing it to me as I lie waiting for my last breath. What a way to go! I love you, Paul and Ringo. AND, IN THE END, THE LOVE YO I TAKE IS EQUAL TO THE LOVE YOU MAKE!
So so so great... I was at the concert in Paris 2 weeks ago, and watching this moment of the concert still gives me shivers. We have averything here : the simple pure beauty of Golden Slumbers, the genious of the transition with carry that weight and the "You never give me my money" theme, the pure rock 'n roll guitar madness, and that last line... In the end, the love you take is indeed equal to the love you make... Eternal thanks to Paul. (and thx to you wo filmed this precious moment).
@@sharigreen9252He surely did. It has been his standard closer for at least 15 years. I have seen him in 2011 and 2015, and this was the last both times.
@larrydichson4546 . We were there, and we were there in 2018 in the same seat block. The 2024 concert was better than the 2018 concert in our opinion. Paul can definitely still rock. His singing is not the same as when he was in his 20s, but it is still good enough at 82 years of age to entertain the 19,999 sell-out crowd (not including your auntie), at the O2. He definitely does not "talk through" the songs 😀 Clearly, this is my opinion, which is different to your reporting of your auntie's opinion.
