I think a good buff for him would be adding "Gain 10 FS" when using Flash Slash, to reward his counter attacks. Waiting 10 turns, even with extra attacks, is too long.
The fact that the devs sat down and said "yeah 10 turn wait to do 10k fixed damage is fair" in a meta where the most popular units and comps can do 30k plus aoe damage through damage mitigation is wild, I get that they don't want him to be broken but if he doesn't get a buff before the banner leaves when they panic buffed ML laika then the devs are just catering to speed.
@phibu7517 beni won't work half the time cause they just won't use skills like they do with celine rn and still win 90% of the time, for rta he's mid only because the openers are too strong
His s1 should aoe when he has counter buff up and give him fighting spirit,His s2 should start him with 50 fighting spirit, his s3 passive should mitigate all damage not just crits and finally let his damage scale with HP. The Perfect ML Kayron. 💯
Why doesn’t he just start with some fighting spirit? I would’ve hoped he’d be similar to Landy with her fighting spirit or Charlotte. It’s like e7 forgot how to do the thing that got them the love they got to begin with. I’m so close to pity and now I’m debating if I should hold off. He needs a slight change but otherwise he’s solid. Love that design and S3 animation. His S1 should’ve changed from red to purple, but that’s me nitpicking lol
Thank you Car, people already defending that he is a ok, im guessing most of those people just follows builds and meta and doesnt know how to decide for themselves that this is not ok, ML Kayron would just be a glorified punching bag for dark units and others like Rimuru and thats it.
He is not my play style so will chuck the usual 20 pulls in just in case then continue saving for Roana. Need to leave some MLs in the pool other wise there is nothing to hope for on galaxy summons…
If he's getting a buff, they can make his ramp up faster but if they do that, they need to remove the 10k fixed damage. Make it like Landy where he penetrates defense by 50% with self reset when FS is full and damage increase by number of usage like Ed and Sage Vivian.
My concern is that soon they will release a unit that give enraged to everyone, if this ever happen then RIP game balance once more (i have a bad feeling about ml roana...) Will definitely wait for a while before deciding to pull, especially considering Light karin on the corner
@@MyLux777 But the unit that utilized it were more scarier than vigor, ML kayron for insta kill, ML tywin for full ignore er stun + def break, taiyou for full ignore er strip + increase enemy cd. Meanwhile the only unit that truly benefit from vigor is only ML khawazu for insta kill and Ken which not even being used for RTA. The only broken thing about vigor is that the buff itself give better stats for pretty much everyone Yeah, this mean enraged is more specific with the unit that can utilize it and you can just banned the unit that give enraged and the entire strat immediately falls apart, so it has pros and cons here

Team wide vigor is potent, but I don't think teamwide enrage will work well in practice. Enrage is actually a weak buff and only beneficial to like 3 characters. Has more cons than pros unless the unit giving it is just a really solid unit.
I’m at a huge debate. Im right there at pity and can’t decide between either him or Ml Ken. Both hit my play style and i have a Injury set ready to go for Ken but I could put it on Kayron as well
As an evangelion fan I love his colors. I dig purple and green on damn near anything. As for the imprint thing, I agree. While Genshin, PGR, and Star Rail don't make them 100% necessary they heavily push you by changing how the character plays at copy 4-6. Epic seven just makes gearing easier with multiple copies.
*In a few month* some random new ML5 Character Skill 2 : "Boost and ally CR by 35% (50% when maxed out) and enrage it for 2 turns." ML Kayron stocks goes brrr

They gotta reduce that S3 by a huge amount to make people even consider him. I know people are like "but he's aoe 🤓" when comparing him to Winter and Rimiru. But both does units can cycle insanely fast and bring other things to the table that benefit the team. This dudes just dead weight that'll be ignored til the rest of you team is dead. I hope they don't buff him at all tbh. I'm not in a hurry to see 10k AoE true damage be a thing in RTA. I honestly think he's fine as is. Something that powerful SHOULD take time to achieve. Pair him with LRK on Aurius along with some soul weavers and you have an extremely bulky team that can dish out huge AoE true damage. Easy arena climb + solid arena defense.
He's fine the way he is honestly...who'd want to play against him if he could proc that AOE 10k quickly. Waiting two and a half rotations while he's countering and giving himself a barrier aint that bad. He needs to be tanky with a bit of damage to be a pain in the ass.

He’d be too stat hungry because then you’re inclined to build not only hp and es, but atk, cc and cd

Enrage only gives 10% in attack and speed. It'll be only useful to a couple units. To the rest, it's worse than vigor.
