Ff7 has four or five different chocobo themes, and the video only plays the main theme. I think it was fair to put only the main chocobo theme of each FF.
Wow, they included almost every musical genre, from techno in 6, rock (and country, of course) in 7, folk in 15, blues in 8, jazz in 13, funk in 10, and of course, heavy metal "Crazy Chocobo" in 13-2.
Great theme. I always ride a chocobo just to listen to the theme. I also like how each version has a different vibe to it. There's a jazzy vibe, a techno vibe, rock, and even a cowboy bebop-ey one. I love FF15's theme because of the violin and the lenghty tune.
That's so cool how you can actually hear other games in the music styles from 80's to 2000. But also, I think the music style (with exceptions) became less experimental and interesting since then.

I just remembered there was a Metal version of the Chocobo Theme in XIII-2 when the Player is riding a wild Red Chocobo. At least it's in the version that was published in Germany. And in XIV there's an own theme for fat Chocobos. Totally missed them here. I mean, even if they're more like Easter Egg,s it's worth mentioning them when doing a video about the Evolution of Chocobo Theme ;)
Technically for FF XIV, it should include the FF XIV: A Realm Reborn version of Eorzea de Chocobo which is slightly different, and the Fat Chocobo theme.
