- Welcome to the home of the Lahontan Cutthroat Trout. Pyramid Lake is the biggest remnant of ancient Lake Lahontan, the inland sea that once covered much of western Nevada. Were here in search of one thing and one thing only, Giant trout! The weather was cold and the wind brutal. Facing the elements in hope to be able to see one of these creatures in person! Hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I did being there.

@@IrishBerserker Thanks bro. Yall gotta get up there! Nothing like it!
Great video. Thanks for posting.
Cool video! Catch them like a bear does. Go viral!
I’ve been going every year for 5 years now. That place is a gem. Might go this year. I catch all day with spoons and marabou jigs but I’m Ofer / 8 on the fly( lost some giants )Thanks for sharing🤙😎🔥💪🎣
You gotta put a bit more gayness into with a fly. Maybe your just not built for it😂 stick to the spoon
@Nobodybaby78 ROFLMFAO 😂🤣😂🤣. I’ve caught hundreds with spoons and jigs. Trying something new(caveman fishing)(Bored) 😂😂😂😎🤙💪
@@Flippencz I seen the fly guys out there doing pretty decent, but its just pretty much throwing a bobber out 4 ft at the drop off and waiting for it to go down. Not my style personally, but it doesnt matter how people catch these fish are amazing either way!
@Nobodybaby78 so, you think fly fishers are gay?
How opinionated. I'll fish however makes me smile. Bait, lures, spincast, cane pole, tenkara, fly rod, baseball bat....
If you're smiling you're doing it correctly. I hope you're smiling while you're fishing.
I am, and I fish many many different ways.....
Did I mention trout lines, drift jugs, tree lines,???
I've fished every way listed.
You should step out of your comfort zone and learn to smile again. Good luck out there, be blessed.
What part is this? And what bait were you using ? Would love to hook up to one of those giants!🙏
@@Hopelessbeauty3304 We fished a few spots out there, but the big fish was caught at Popcorn. www.goldenstatefishing.shop/

My friend just caught a 16.8 lb the other day. I only live 35 minutes away from that lake. thanks
@@calliepieters3446 Heck yeah bro! Lucky id be there everyday lol
Are they tasty looks like great meat ?
@@darrynkushman1 I love to catch fish, eat however I do not like fish! I have always released my trout when the lake permits. These giants ive heard from guys who eat trout are not the greatest fish. All fish in video were released to be caught again someday.
He’d rather eat chicken alfredo without the chicken. 😂
@@TroutTastic Thank You for your reply
@@PattyCakeJake 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t pull the cui ius out of the water. If beach patrol or a ranger caught you doing that it’s a costly fine.
@@DestinationUnknownFishing Good to know. He was put back right away
