Pyramid Lake, Nevada l GSF New SuperTubes l Jigging for Giants
Today's video is another epic trip out to the land of the giants Pyramid Lake, Nevada. We spent a few days out on the water testing out some of these new amazing colors and design of the new 4 inch super tubes. These baits did not disappoint. Lots of Pb's were broken, and a couple of giants 19 plus pound fish landed by the Man himself GoldenstateFishing.

@@darrynkushman1 I love to catch fish, eat however I do not like fish! I have always released my trout when the lake permits. These giants ive heard from guys who eat trout are not the greatest fish. All fish in video were released to be caught again someday.

Golden state is trash. They fish bath tub lakes. They dont fish wild trout around the states. They fish stocker fish, not hard to catch trout that are stocked. You could throw anything out and they will hit.no skill required. He just said lake just got stocked. What a joke. 😅

Hey trout tastic! I want to invest in a Phenix ultralight two piece option. Im deciding between the elixir and the mirage. I'm leaning towards the mirage, however, I'm a bit undecided on buying it since it is moderate and not a fast action like the elixir. I will primarily use this mirage for jigging, however I'm unsure as it is a moderate action. Which rod would you go for?
@@adventureedit5776 Mirage. Before I upgraded to the Katana I used the mirage and elixir. Both good rods i would go to store and hold each rod. My mirage is 1 piece though
@@TroutTastic could you drop shot with the mirage as well? And with it being a moderate rod, is it harder to create hook sets on the small bites as opposed to a fast action? Wish they made this rod in fast action…
@@adventureedit5776 If your planning to dropshot more then mini jig id go with elixir. If your gonna mini jig more then i would go mirage, or spend the extra money and grab a katana rod you can do both with it

@ ok cool they are upping their prices and adding a fishing pass on top of entry and didn’t know if they did it yet. What made you decide to run drop shot there?
@IrishBerserker Its was 20 for pass and 20 for launch. Water is dirty alage everywhere fish were holding at the bottom. Dropshot gets the bait down quick and allows you to work that part of the water. Jig it like a mini jig real slow with stops

Man, this was my go to lake in the 80s-late 90s. Mini jigs in black w/sparkle always did the trick. Good to know water level went up, hopefully we get more rain this coming winter. Any sighting of Jason Voorhees?😂. Thanks for posting video.

Good shit bro! Definitely a good way to open up so cal season. My son and I fished that cove pretty hard the day before you went up there and we had a hell of a day! Got good numbers and a few 2 to 3 pounders. I also got a decent lightning so overall it was a great opener for us. Great vid as always bro!

@ctom0003 1/16 oz. The color that was working well was Creamsicle in the morning jack Frost mid day and supershad in the afternoon. Madonna did well also! Goodluck up there it's fishing good!
