    The funny part about Luka and Jokic is that they have amazing body control, hand eye coordination and spacial awareness, you pair those abilities with great basketball skills and the results speak for themselves

    Andre Miller had excellent below the rim game. He made a good living for a long time, below average athlete, below average jumper, yet tough to beat

      Watching him, he does literally nothing incredible but was so consistent and effective. Whenever I watch an old game and he’s there I’m always enjoying how old school it is

    We may never see another player like Prime IT on the Celtics. That man was scoring the basketball with the best of them at under 6 feet tall. It was insane.

    Matt Bonner might be the first legitimate 3 point specialist big man ever.
    There are bigs who shot 3s before him but I can’t think of any actual “3 point specialist” who was at least 6’10

    • @flamingbow3
      @flamingbow3 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Mehmet Okur is one of them stretch bigs from the 00s

    • @bbcpfghs
      @bbcpfghs 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@flamingbow3 he’s a stretch big for sure, but I hesitate to call him a 3 point specialist because he actually did a lot of other things on the court and was a solid defender.
      Matt Bonners purpose for being on the floor is to literally only shot 3s and nothing else lmao

    Wish Josh Smith developed a shot, dude was crazy athletic and great on defense. I remember him getting a few tip in dunk buzzer beaters wins

    • @Blekkkkkkkkk
      @Blekkkkkkkkk 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      shouldve stayed power forward and lock in. Biggest mistake i see people do is trying to change peoples game. Josh smith, Blake Griffin, people want them to shoot now they end up settling too much for shooting. I love giannis because he kept on run and dunking, knowing damn well he also can attack with his spins, drop step, and other moves. Id love to see him get his free throw right though .

    Y'all can call it glaze but we've truly never seen anyone else like Lebron ever, one of the most unique players ever. We've never seen someone this good at everything, a well rounded jack of all trades that has one of the highest peaks in NBA history, while also having been able to sustain themselves for longer than anyone thought it would go on for.

    Most unique during his time: Charles Barkley, a 6'5 Power Forward who was UNSTOPPABLE IN HIS PRIME! No Forward or Center could stop Chuck from getting 30 & 14 in his heyday!

  • @beanballing

    I also appreciate the discussion of skills vs. athleticism.
    Derrick Jones Jr. is a plus athlete, but was on his way out of the league. Skills development was his only path forward, and his rise suggests a strong work ethic.

    In the NHL, there's a guy named Brad Marchand, who I would love to see an equivalent in the NBA. He's like a Draymond/Marcus Smart type pest agitator player who gives you great defence but will also be at the top of the league in scoring. In recent memory, I feel only Kevin Garnett gave you that and the one great Pacers season of Artest. That type of player doesn't exist these days, so whoever takes that type of player model will be unique.

    I agree with Luka because he’s tall, stong, and fat as a perimeter player who can also shoot well and play in the post, but we’ve seen Jokic before. His name was Arvydas Sabonis.
