- Digital DJ Tips broke this story on 4/20 that Mixcloud has expanded it's services to video live-streaming. Here is a list of things I believe everyone needs to know before hopping on.

This is great news iv been a mixcloud user for a while now never been premium member but now's the time to start i think i have over 600 followers now its a fantastic platform
I would also go to Crossfader and Cleveland Terry. They are both on TH-cam. I've been on Mixcloud for a long time because certain radio show only use Mixcloud for their broadcasting. I recently upgrade to a Pro Creator so I can do more with Mixcloud. This news is a complete game changer for the only social media will allow DJs to stream with no issues is Twitch. Now Mixcloud who have been awesome with DJs and Producer have the capability to stream without the headache of being kicked out. I don't use the other platforms to live stream and since I am involve in 2 online radio show, I can live stream for I am under their protected umbrella. The thing is now I can play live anytime I want and that's good for you still need to get the word out.
Game changer...I gave up on soundcloud years ago and stopped steaming on Facebook about 12 months ago...won’t be long until these platforms follow suit...by which time I hope Mixcloud corner the market.
This is great news, and hopefully they get this up to speed and working. That being said it's no Facebook as far as accessibility. Even gramma has Facebook. I have recently seen DJ's "get away" with playing more stuff than I thought and not getting bumped on Facebook. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. And I would pay TH-cam or Facebook a monthly fee to be able to stream whatever I wanted as well.
D.J.Johnny Tapia Just live streamed on FB earlier and was taken down after 1/2 hour (I was exclusively playing deep house).
What if I was a band and I wanted to livestream our performance...will this be allowed in mixcloud live or is it exclusively for DJs?...is there a similar site that would cater for bands?
Having to enter a new stream key for every new stream is a hassle, can be very laggy at times (I use the settings that work for Twitch, FB and YT in OBS).
No iPad app? Hmm...
