I have been to the Philippines Manila Tondo Aroma and Happyland area and the people are super nice and welcoming, I made friends with a family who lives there and stayed overnight with them and no one tried to harm me in any way and they never asked me for anything, I love the people who live there, and just because they don't have much doesn't mean they are bad people, they are rich in Goodness and at heart , I hope to go back and visit again soon.
I am married to a Filipina who comes from the slums, it is unbelievable how selfless she is and they are, they would give you anything, anytime, i never ceased to be humbled, and always with a big smile on their face that is directly connected to the heart.

Every Filipino person I've ever met has always impressed me with their warm and positive attitude! Most especially the ones who have come to the UK and work as nurses and carers in our National Health Service! Seeing the poverty they've come from, and their wonderfully happy attitude to life has made me even more appreciative and respectful about them and their positivity! A truly lovely and likeable people!
Poverty in the Philippines is a complex issue influenced by various factors, including economic inequality, corruption, and inadequate access to education. The disparity in income across different regions and sectors creates significant barriers for many Filipinos, limiting their opportunities for upward mobility.
One of my weirdest travel experiences was Manila‘s Chinese cemetery where they have real houses for the deads, with mail boxes and everything. Right around this was a slum, where the living have pathetic sheds and even card boxes as a home.
I have lived in rich countries with rich people and have experienced all the manifest spiritual sickness of the rich and proud. Spiritual poverty is the greatest issue on earth. People who are $$ rich might view these videos thinking they are in a better situation but actually they are not because the Kingdom of God is within you and among you.
In the Philippines, 18.1% of the population lived below the national poverty line in 2021. In the Philippines, the proportion of employed population below $2.15 purchasing power parity a day in 2023 was 0.2%. For every 1,000 babies born in the Philippines in 2022, 27 died before their 5th birthday.
Global poverty is one of the most pressing problems that the world faces today. The poorest in the world are often undernourished, without access to basic services such as electricity and safe drinking water; they have less access to education, and suffer from much poorer health.
Hey Marcos , can you do something with the uncontrolled increase of children ?? Its a pity to see them out there running aimlessly not knowing what the future holds .

The people seem healthy, happy, and friendly. Is this poverty worse than having a cleaner-looking place but being a slave to some feudalistic-run corporation in a cubicle all day?
Is anyone really poor, when everyone lives the same? One thing Paul, they are RICH, in kids! The alleys are filled with little ones, from toddlers to teens! And it's funny to see them swarm you! Don't they attend school? The little girls jump in front of you and the camera "Hi! Hello!! And then, when they get to their teens, they hide their faces and act all shy! LOL Tell them to smile and wave and they'll become TH-cam famous! I see fishing boats... But they are all pulled in ashore, or at the docks. Nice tables of fish, look to be drying in the sun? Everybody seems either busy with doing something, or is just kicking it at the house door, minding the babies.

Another great walk my friend. Keep it up and take care always.
Every time I watch, I learn something that sticks. Your ability to turn abstract concepts into real-life lessons is unmatched.

While politicians live in their mansions and haciendas, their very own people suffer endlessly with limited financial resources and joblessness.

This video is a perfect reminder that mastering anything takes time. It’s about consistent action, not immediate results.
I’m gonna change the Philippines and help these people. I’m motivated.

Most of these dear people don't think of living in poverty, they are use to it, this is home.

Living in poverty but can still afford to have mobile phones! If they picked up the rubbish it would help.
What happened to the Philippines? I hope they will escape from poverty. I'm from Thailand.😢
Those smiles tell you exactly what it's like. Money doesn't equal happiness.
