That's a great question, and we put locks on the handles outside so that no sneaky trouble makers can do just that because the levers still function normally, lol
@@ToddLarsen Well I figured as much, you've thought of everything. I've been watching you since you started, can't believe what you've accomplished, you have a great mind and a kind heart, all the best to you both.
We live in a "nice" double wide. But have no tornado shelter. Miles from anywhere. I want to reinforce my conex walls and put in anchors. The inside door closure problem was killing me. Thank you so much. I know a conex is not a great option. But its all I have. I appreciate you.
My wife loves that we can shut the doors from inside since it's basically our living room and bedroom now. We make due whith what we have, and that's a whole lot better than nothing. I've seen quite a few videos of tornado aftermath, and most have one thing in common, and that's shipping containers still standing while the home next to them is long gone.
Glad to see you using your Handy Dandy notebook. In case Shane didn't tell you, the fillers are available at Walmart. We sure enjoy watching your projects. Really proud of you!
What a nice little project to give you variety in your chores. Everything is geared towards moving onwards and upwards, no little job is wasted in the journey, is it? 😊
Great question! I do not know how it would work. Shipping containers are often used as trailers, and if the door patern is the same, then it should work.
That's genius, may I ask, once you have locked the door from the inside, would someone be able to lock you in from the outside locks?

Thank you so much for the notebook, Ember and I use them often. I will continue with my projects and plenty more to come.
Brilliant Todd!
Thank you so much!
Ingenious!!
Thank you.
this was the video i was searching for, thank you
You are so very welcome.
So, if someone come along, they could or could not lock you in? Of course, I know you could climb out the window!
That's a great question, and as long as pad locks are placed on the levers, you can't lock it from outside. And yes we have the window, lol
Nice work Todd!
Thank you!
That is a good idea what yous have dun there to the shipping containers there an keep up the amazing video clip there 👍👍
Thank you so much, I had fun with this project.
Nice one!Thank you!
You are very welcome. It still works great today.
Oh that is brilliant!!!! I have been thinking about that exact problem.
Problem solved 👍

No job is wasted at all. Everything leads to a comfortable future.
How would this work on a semi trailer swing door?
Great question! I do not know how it would work. Shipping containers are often used as trailers, and if the door patern is the same, then it should work.
That's really clever!
I love using it. It's so much fun working the levers.
@@ToddLarsenPut a moat between the front doors and the ground with a little bridge and you'll have the full "zombie castle" feeling going. :P
Are you in Yucca, AZ? I have property out there
Nope, we're in Tombstone.
ingenius
Yes sir I do agree, lol.
Patent the idea and make a kit I can buy!
Great idea!
