I understand people tell you not to start on 600cc bikes because they care about your safety and whatnot, but honestly people like me who want to start on a bike like this know that it's dangerous like, and I know it's powerful. I'm not going to get on it for the first time and just rip it. I'm going to Granny TF out of it until I get more comfortable and experienced.

@@SunGymLive They provide a bike just like the MSF basic rider course. They'll even provide a helmet and eye protection if you need it. I got a full face helmet from Walmart that should tide me over until I get my endorsement and then shop for quality gear.

Nowadays, bikes have lots of modes so if you're average height and weight, you could definitely start with a 600. Shorter/lighter fellas might wanna start with the 400 though.

Good question. Never really wanted to change the headlight bulb but would make it safer to ride at night and more visible during the day

Great video, I didn't know the GSXR 600 had two different modes. If you ever get a chance test drive the GSXR 1000. It's a beast and rides smoother at Hwy speeds.
