Couch potato Homebody someone who spends his entire time indoors. Is that correct? Focus less on confidence and focus more on courage. Master up the courage Laugh off To Lean= rely on someone in this context. Drive yourself crazy = make yourself nervous, anxious . Time share. Shitstorm. Thank you guys for your amazing 👏 job. This podcast shows me a very good interest in English. I'm not a talkative person so I felt like everything you've said in this podcast talk about me. Thank you so much ❤

@@fernandovaca1865 okay I knew that she isn't and I knew that the other man is not as well, he is from my country Brazil, but about Ethan I thought he was a native English speaker.

I am a faithful listener of the podcast since some time now and your work is awesome. I am an intermediate learner and in a few days gonna take a writing test in order to apply for a job. Could you please share some tips or recommendations when writing against the clock? My mind goes blank when I’m under pressure. I have about an hour to write an essay and as non native learner of the language my ideas doesn’t flow as fast as my mother tongue and that consume most of the time. Will be my fourth attempt, please help. Thanks.
Maybe your confidense is a result of your profession cos you must speak with people a lot But for me it depens more from sosciaety in with i m beeing cos for me maybe not comfortable to be with people that i have no somerthing to speak about or if they have a deliberate agression I think its not depens from confidense it depens from sosiaety And earlyer i was in rather better sociaety but unfortunatly cought speak with sombody too cos i was complitly different person And it means that its all depens not only from confidence but more from personal situation
Hi Measlor! Thanks for sharing! It takes time to gain more confidence, but keep the commitment to your learning process, and with time you you feel less shy. Thanks for learning with us! ❤
Yet another great podcast lesson ❤ I got some tips to overcome my shyness & learned a bunch of new vocabulary- to hinder, a trip/walk down memory lane, to cringe, a tweak, social butterfly, practice makes perfect, to be in the zone, a fish out of water, from the get-go, to blossom, a homebody, couch potato, wanderlust, aha moment, to be stuck in a rut, to tip sb off, melange of, outgoing, vicious cycle, insurmountable, to put sb/sth on a pedestal, to muster up the courage, to flop, to laugh sth off, to take the edge off sth, a wallflower, lean on sb, right off the bat, to catch up on sth, to reek, to work one's life away, to barricade, pardon my french, shitstorm, to abhor.
Ethen would you like to mention the song the city reek driving my self crazy you work for you live the pay your time share I try to find this song on Spotify but I didn't? Can you mention I am being searching this song??? Try to mention???
"Thrown" is used when something is either: Physically launched (e.g., throw a ball). Figuratively tossed around (e.g., throw ideas around). In the state of being propelled (e.g., leaves thrown by wind).
