As a Ukrainian, I'm so grateful for a Ukrainian guest here. It was such a big surprise to me that I couldn't help sharing this podcast with my own students (I'm an English teacher too❤😅)! You're amazing guys! I'm absolutely in love with this channel! Thank you for all the content you're creating!❤❤❤
What a nice surprise to meet a guest from my homeland here! I’m also Ukrainian 🇺🇦 and am on my way to the English fluency. This is so relatable and inspiring. Thank you for your amazing work, I listen to your podcasts every day, it’s really helpful. Keep going!
How to handle your feeling bored while you all learning english. That is simple. I'll giving you imagine. What's your hobbies ? Playing football ? Playing video games or swimming. How do you consistensy doing all of them ? Because you love it. You don't have a pressure. You never give up because learn english is part of your hobbies. I used to not interested about english at all. While i was school , i felt like this lesson kinda boring. I was skip every lesson. And after 33 years i am life , december past year. Suddenly my intention to learn english came to me. Like play a puzzle. I was writing every word to my notes including translate from my native language. Bit by bit from 30 minutes per day, increase to 2 hours per day. Every single day i never skip the lesson. Listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I've been doing improving and still making improvement. And i will never stops learning until rest of my life.
Wow, that's amazing to hear, Abdi! What a chance of paradigm. We're so happy for you! And well said, btw! Connecting English to the things you love the most is really game-changing. Congrats! Keep up the great work.
I like to leave a comment here, because, i was amazed when see this vedio in yt. It has always been my ambition in life to become in English, but unfortunate i didnt learn even after my college years. I got frustrated with ambition for not achieving till today. I finished in college with the degree of bachelor in secondary education last 2008 but until today, i did not teach because i am not confident enough with my english speaking skills. I was hopeless for years past. For me it is hard to believe in myself of having a chance to learn english because i was already 37 years today and i think it is already old enough. But seeing your vedios today , something comes in my mind, & something left up my spirit to dream of something again which is not yet achieved before. Hopefully i can totally learn english, and i want to be a good english speaker. Thank you so much for making this vedio. Learners or beginners are very lucky today when they are watching you vedios podcast.

Hi! Thanks a lot for this interview! It's really inspiring.I'd like to ask you how can I take English lesson from Xenia If it's possible. I mean just speaking lessons not grammar.Thank you.
That's exactly the typical education system in Indonesia. English is taught as a second language at schools. It is a mandatory subject. Therefore, students are conditioned to learn a lot of English textbooks and to be better at reading and listening but they will get stuck in speaking and writing. So, I think this is the main issue that English teachers should pay more attention to in order to enhance their students' English performance. Very nice video, anyway 👍👍

Hey there Abraham, You'll find plenty of people LIVING their English by practicing on the RealLife English app! You can learn more about it here - reallifeglobal.com/app/
You can't take English as a required subject at a school where they speak another language and expect that to make you fluent. You won't get nearly enough time in the language in class even if you do all the homework religiously. You need to spend huge amounts of time with a foreign language to get fluent. I don't think it's fair to blame your school. You knew it wasn't an international or English speaking school to begin with. Of course you'll have to spend lots of time teaching studying more on top of whatever they assign or immersing in English if you want to become fluent. Sorry I hear this same comment in Japan where I taught English and I think students expect too much from the school. If you really expect going to school to make you fluent, go to a full on English speaking school where all courses are taught in English not just English class. If you don't, then play video games in English after school to become fluent like most other nerds do.
That makes sense. And still there are differences in the level of education. Let's say Scandinavian countries, their English is pretty good after school.

What country is Ksenia from?
Hey there Marcos,
Ksenia is from Ukraine. :)
@@RealLifeEnglish1 Great! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your perspective. That's true, learning a language needs commitment.
That makes sense. And still there are differences in the level of education. Let's say Scandinavian countries, their English is pretty good after school.
@@kseniaaktash9242 they don’t only learn in school. Their languages are so small they end up watching English TV for their entertainment.
@@paulwalther5237, btw, learn IN school, or learn AT school ??...
@@viktorkasyanenko8745 both ok.
