I have been loving and singing this song for years without understanding the words. It is only now that after googling the lyrics i fully understand the words. Now it hits harder than before
24 years old. I grew up with this music, having family in Namibia, South Africa and Zim. Now im back in Germany, where i was born, and exploring my identity and i have come back to this song once again. I have been loving and singing this song for years without understanding the words. It is only now that after googling the lyrics i fully understand the words. Now it hits harder than before
24 years old. I grew up with this music, having family in Namibia, South Africa and Zim. Now im back in Germany, where i was born, and exploring my identity and i have come back to this song once again. I was vibing so hard, remembering when i was small, when it occurred to me to read a translation of the lyrics. Thats when the meaning of the song hit me like a truck.
