Showers keep going through the day across north and west of Scotland, as well as parts of Northern Ireland. However, it will be dry and sunny across the vast majority of England and Wales. The southeast of England will see temperatures in the low to mid twenties, with high teens likely elsewhere. This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the afternoon of 16/08/24.
