I don’t agree with making it harder if your green card has been denied. It’s obviously hard enough if they’re having to reapply. But I do agree with that form he was talking about. From the questions he said were on there, I don’t see anything wrong with that. What’s wrong with wanting to make sure that the ppl who are coming here will be a benefit to society. Hell, Australia does that! If you can’t benefit them in some way, you’re not allowed to move there. And I think that’s smart actually. It ensures that you’re country will thrive. They do. And that screening process is brutal, long, and tiring. 3 years and still waiting on my husband. I am a doctor and he is a lawyer in his home country. People who are unfamiliar with the process think it's easy to come here. It is not. We have a very strict system. Canada has a smiliar bar to get papers that trump wanted to copy were the person or spouse is graded from 0-100 and you get points for education level, multiple languages, savings, work, achievements etc. And if you score i think less than 80 its hard to be approved.
There is no such rule to file for your spouse. In fact, a Canadian can file for his/her common-law partner if they have co-habited for certain time period. The grading/points system applies to someone who is filing for himself/herself based on the professional path to residency (your qualification, age, language skill, family ties etc) give you points. But that does not apply to a spouse being filed for.
I can only speculate based on what happened during the last Trump presidency, and it was not harder to file the I-751. The only difference was that USCIS required a written explanation if the I-751 was filed late.

Hello sir I’m from Ethiopia I have started the spouse process. Priority date December 2022 .document qualified December 2023 . My husband is a citizen. Interview appointment. How long does it take?
I entered the country with the green card, my husband stayed with me and our son in my country for 4 years, then we decided to come here, the process was fast, I did not have to wait to enter with the conditional card, we spent all that time in my country (I was not separated from my husband at any time of that kind) after 5 months I was approved the green card and after 3 years of being here I did the whole process of citizenship .... If you do things correctly everything works out fine. In fact when we went to do the residency process the people at the embassy were scared (one person told me that nobody waits that long and that 24 hours after getting married they want to do the process to enter the United States) and that I decided to do it after 4 years, to which I responded that I got married for love and not for anything else and that for love my husband had also decided to stay with me in my country. Here we are 10 years and 3 childrens!
Whag about for ppl that have been in the USA all their life? The ones that have felonies on their record and did not get a deportation and still stayed in the USA? Its not fair that they have to still live like a ghost.

Ppl just make 1 or 2 mistakes and for some immigrants that have been in the USA since kids that lived and learned the lifestyle of America. Why cant they get a chance too? They have no record of ever living or working in their born countries no connections, no life over there. It’s not right in my opinion. Ya feel me?
I knew a guy came here on a school visa he never went to any college and 10 years later gets married to USA citizen now cant get a residency because of that false pretenses they said
If you received a " permanent residence" you filed for it with proof you are living in the US. Like proof of a job paying US taxes, a House or Rent an apartment and live in a community. If you use your green card to travel and live in another country for month, than you may need to explain it. Being out of the country 5 month a year would be a question of you actually qualify for a green card.
One thing that I mentioned in my prior video is that you should be sure to always update your address on the USCIS website when you change your address. Failing to do so might affect your ability to naturalize.
How do we determine if a marriage is a sham? There are many marriages between American citizens in which the couple lives separately, sleep with others, one travels all the time without the spouse, is just for money or social capital or to get their parents off their backs or to receive an inheritance. Many couples marry for their potential as a power couple, not for true love. These couples are often successful because they have matching goals and expectations. No one can judge a sham marriage from the outside. Yet there are many men (usually) who string their side piece along by saying he and his wife are only together for the kids, are like roommates, etc. when actually things may be dull, but they’re working.
But that is not your business. Let me explain . We can say over here there are a lot of sham marriages, You pay up in the thousands to get married just to divorce in 6 months that is a sham marriage to me .
To come over here citizen or green card you MUST be able to speak and understand some English verbally and written. If not, you be denied. Also if you don’t know about your sponsor you can denied. Once denied you have slim chance to come over. I used to do this to most my inlaws from Haiti. Indians and other countries say it was same for them.
BTW this was before Obama was president. I think I done maybe 2 under Obama before I stopped. Most ones I sponsor and applied for is here. Under school visa is easiest and quickest

Scare tactics are based on something that hasn't happened, the best fear is the unknown. This man however, is basing his video on his experience of being an immigration lawyer during Trump's first term, now just because you weren't paying attention back then, doesn't mean it's not true.
Scare tactics that’s what Trump has been using all his life and doing the election process, scare tactics plain and simple oh, and by the way, those aren’t scared tactics Trump usually does what he says😊
What happens for a latin woman that got married to a US citizen last October. Does she free with this changes? Or does her process have Trump’s policies?
All I know is that when I married my wife in Japan I had to fill out an affidavit saying I’d be responsible for her financially for 40 quarters (10 years). When I signed my name on that line I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. I vowed to not have her be a liability to the country and expected to be held to my word.
@@danadunnivant6802 USA said exacly he same. When the spouse or sponsor sign the affidavit it said the beneficiary cannot use any help from USA for 10 years. ( 40 credits working get you the retirement benefits).
Almost none of what was descried as an impediment seemed as such. They mostly sonded reasonable. Why would any country want to added people to it's public welfare system knowingly?
Well I believe Trump will come back with the public charge rule you just mentioned which will make it extremely hard for those cases to be approved because the vast majority of the beneficiaries don’t have a college degree nor are they financially stable. It’s a scary rule. He’s not scaring people that rule was already active when Biden was elected they got rid of it
@AHammock under Obama there was a 145 percent of the minimum wage required for family size, which had been 125% when I went to Europe. Only waiver was for military or embassy employees. I never earned the 32K yearly required, as a bus driver for schools, a security guard, or a taxi owner. Sure didn't overseas. And they do not look at her income as a certified school teacher, even with three job offers in Atlanta. So..
Note to potential green card seekers. The quality of life in the US sucks like a one dollar hoar. People have to work two jobs to make ends meet, affordable health care is a myth, the people you meet are clueless of life outside the US so expect shallow thinking and conversations, the quality of food is poor, and the list goes on and on.
To career welfare recipients it's pretty sweet. Not allowed to work or they lose housing cash food and medical. Better to stay home and thats what these people are seeking bc thats what they were promised.

I obtained my green card through marriage during Trump’s presidency. I don’t remember the specifics of the form, but I had to submit a lot of evidence and my husband’s tax return and proof of economic stability. I know this has also been the case even before Trump because I had a family member do it before as well. Also, it’s always been the case that you risk deportation if you don’t submit your documents on time; that’s a very well known fact by every immigrant, or was it just a rumor? And the rule of not spending over a certain amount of time out of the US to keep residency has always existed. I really don’t see anything new in this video except from the few items in the new form. It all seems reasonable given how much fraud is done with that type of green card application and how many people end up being a burden to the state.

Most countries don’t make it easy for outsiders to just come on in and settle all willy nilly. This makes perfect sense. You should have a screening process.
Thank you for the video. What about for the ones who will apply for I751, will it be harder for them?

If you do things correctly everything works out fine. In fact when we went to do the residency process the people at the embassy were scared (one person told me that nobody waits that long and that 24 hours after getting married they want to do the process to enter the United States) and that I decided to do it after 4 years, to which I responded that I got married for love and not for anything else and that for love my husband had also decided to stay with me in my country. as a green card holder, are there any caveats we must be aware of? for instance staying out of the country for 5months at a stretch
Sham marriages should be ban for life Give toll free no to report such cases
How do we determine if a marriage is a sham? There are many marriages between American citizens in which the couple lives separately, sleep with others, one travels all the time without the spouse, is just for money or social capital or to get their parents off their backs or to receive an inheritance.
Many couples marry for their potential as a power couple, not for true love. These couples are often successful because they have matching goals and expectations.
No one can judge a sham marriage from the outside.
Yet there are many men (usually) who string their side piece along by saying he and his wife are only together for the kids, are like roommates, etc. when actually things may be dull, but they’re working.
