I still love how Tendo is brutally difficult compared to the final boss to show the difference between the real Yakuza who win their power through struggle and persevearance and those who win their power with money, what an awesome game.
Genuinely a scary boss, he felt so powerful every part of the boss, and winning it literally made me go, "Fuck," exhale, and lean back in my chair, literally the perfect final boss in terms of gameplay, took everything to stop him from oneshotting me.
@@happypunky4129 Imo my only complaint about him in terms of gameplay is how much of a sponge he is. If you don’t invest in unlocking Fulminating Forecast (fortuneteller electric ability) or Essence of Orbital Laser (unlocked when you reach rank 1 of Ichiban Holdings), then he’s gonna take even longer to take down. Alongside that, the fight can take even longer if you die from his 1 shot, which can piss some people off. I personally love that coz it adds to how much of an intimidating boss he is. Peerless Resolve definitely saved me from it. If you want my opinion on the perfect boss in this game, I think I’d handle that to Sawashiro’s second fight.

I love how both Tendo and Kiryu aren't even phased by Ichiban's opening attacks. The strength difference is just on a whole other scale for the characters with dragon tattoos.

When you consider which characters actually achieve the title of Dragon within the games; Kiryu, Shibusawa, Ryuji, Tendo, and Ichiban, it really brings into perspective the strength that Tendo is implied to have. We haven't seen an enemy with strength like that since Ryuji and Ichiban is only powerful enough to defeat him because of the friends he has backing him up.
@martvinegar3431 no, he wasn't. His final style is actually his brawler style, he has no dragon style. The entire point of him fighting Kiryu was to become a dragon.
@@namethis658 kiryu himself uses brawler as his canon moveset and you can't get dragon unless you do a minigame which is either not canon or happens after the events of zero plus his theme is Two DRAGONS
