Thanks for teaching me everything you did dude. And helping to keep my attention on science, learning and away from the gangs and bad things in the neighborhood I had to survive in and out of. Thanks for being a example SO MUCH SO I wanted to be like you guys not some bangers or guys flashing. I’ll never forget hearing gunshot and just being glad I was able to have a tv and watch some discovery channel. That week we lost a friend not related to any crime just got hit by strays. War in that neighborhood was constant between rival neighborhoods living on the boarder of the two. You helped spark change in me and I forever stoped going out even to skate and found factories that were safe to skate at when I needed to see the sun. I was born in 92, so I remember when this series started and you struck a core in me. Doing all kinds of experiments and showing me a new side of life, ONE I ACHED SO BAD TO SEE AND KNOW..

I remember the myth was if you mounted too many postage stamps on the rotor blades of a helicopter, would it disrupt the airflow and cause a crash. I remember that they thought our job was cool that we followed bad guys. We thought their job was cool that they could, on a daily basis, blow up stuff. It was like a mutual admiration society. Grant played a massive role in my childhood. Growing up, i would always wait for new episodes of mythbusters and would be so happy to see the gang deem a myth confirmed, plausible, or busted. This is one celebrity death i'm afraid I'll never recover from. He has and will always be a part of my past, present, future. Rest in peace Grant

Me and my dad used to sit and watch every episode of Mythbusters. We would put bets on if the myth was true or not. I was young so the bets were usually Xbox 360 play time.
Grant was a huge part of young life and definitely was a part of me choosing to go into Computer Science as he was always the smart guy and a key player in every project

I can't believe I got the news just yesterday. For some reason, I couldn't believe he has died, like it just doesn't compute. Loved him on the show and watched some YT videos on him 2 years ago. So full of life, positive and curious it's hard to even understand his passing.
