@@oaz8 he also likes to rotate the car very early (also why he brakes earlier than Hamilton) and time it so just before he gets in the throttle the car will start understeering and he can really punch it out of the corner. Basically stabilises the car for a good exit earlier than other drivers do, sacrifices entry speed and sometimes apex speed (not so much apex speed tho) and maximises exits. Phenomenal stuff love watching all the drivers and seeing what makes them so good.
davissi Some have been saying that since before he was born. Who ever was born to TWO such racers? I think it's a whole new level of genetically concentrated car racing talent. It's one think to have a special F1 driver as a dad (Villeneuve, Rosberg, Andretti), but another to ask have a mom that will hand most pro racer guys their asses in a cart. I've been saying F1 since he was announced a boy. His dad was awesome in his own right, Senna-like in the wet. Insanely late with braking. Unlapping himself to Schumi in race mode. But Max seems to have had 17 years to learn from dad's rough edges. More natural speed. Fast whichever line he picks around a corners. Super clever and stable wheel-to-wheel battling, and in terms of tech knowledge totally ready. This kid can nearly only disappoint. He was dealt a tough hand. When you're holding 4 aces, you are expected to win everything, easy.
Hopelijk kunnen we volgend seizoen ook life races gaan volgen van de serie waarin Max uiteindelijk zal gaan racen. Ik heb wel behoefte aan wat Nederlands race succes ;)
You can tell he still thinks he's driving a kart.. 0.32 - that little flick when he hits the brakes, means he's in the middle of the track when he gets to turn in point
8 years later he is a f1 world champion
4 time world championship
6 years later he scored his first F1 pole here.
His racing line is perfect, that's why he is fast as hell.
he use late apex technique on tight corner because its faster just like vettel, hamilton, etc

Must have been great for Jos to see Max doing so good on the track where he received his first trophy in Formula1.
WHAT A LAP!!! Superb! Come on!
And now this guy’s gonna win the 2021 championship
10 year later in my home page youtube, Nice.
