They were actually on a used bike for sale, but he had the stock exhaust too. So I asked him the price difference of the bike with the different exhaust and it was $300 different, so I said: "Ok, can i give you $300 for the exhaust?" and he said I guess...! haha so I bought it that way!
How many hours will my 2012 crf250r last? My friends 2011 Crf250r is sitting on about 250hrs with no rebuild and my 250 has done 35-40hrs on a new rebuild from previous owner
That is a lot of hours!! My 2014 is at about 70 hours but with titanium valves, my friends brand new bike blew up at 90 hours, his crank went through the casing. But he raced and rode the rev limiter constantly. How hard you ride and how often you change the oil is such a huge factor, I wouldn't even be able to guess. I check the valves anytime I notice any hiccups or sputtering and re-shim if needed. I put a new piston in my 2010 after 2 summers of racing (maybe 60 hours) just for preventative sake, but it probably could have went another year. I would never guess a 2012 to go 250 hours!! You are probably getting close to needing your valves shimmed, keep me posted and good luck.
Ty Nagle yeah here where I live we can’t afford to go out at buy rebuilds every 90 or so hrs so we don’t push our bikes as much as mx racers do not saying that we couldn’t but yeah😂 and I will dude❤️
@@dracgotbands I would change it after 10, but if its super black and gritty maybe change it sooner next time. Also if it smells burnt at all thats a sign of ring wear, and you are not running at full compression. With racing, I'll change the clutch side oil in between gearbox oil changes since the fibers "shed" a little and the oil gets dirty and broken down quicker. I just filmed a full rebuild of my 2010 that my girlfriend did, I'll be posting vids soon(ish), Subscribe to follow along!!
Yeah, in theory the smaller wheel will reduce the top speed but I don't have any sort of comparison. It runs through the gears pretty quick, You will definitely want a smaller sprocket!
Brock haha my bad, I thought this was the supermoto video... no the exhaust won’t change the top speed, it will still hit the same rev limit with any exhaust, that’s controlled by the head/valves/springs/cam. Only the sprockets and wheel/tire size will affect the top speed or mph you get out of each gear.
Glad to see a awesome bike actually used with those parts not just sitting
Yeah, I would add more of the Arenacross but wanted to keep it simple and about the exhaust! Thanks!
wish i had the money to get such a sweet exhaust man
Look used! It has the same performance, way cheaper of course
That exhaust sounds so sick bro 😍
Thanks! it makes a huge difference over stock, way more deep and the rev limit is insane!
time for new grips
I've replaced them, I'll make you a great deal on these if you're interested!!
Where did you get those pipes, cause I want some for my bike

Ty Nagle oh yeah and by the way I’ve done 10 hrs on my bike since it’s last oil change so do you think it’s ready for an oil change?

Just sell it and get a cr250 it’s not worth it.. I’ve had an 07 and I prefer a 97
What year is this bike
David Valdez it’s a 2014, the first year they went back to dual exhaust. The bike next to it is a 2010.
Nice pit bike those cho
you got the stock ecu in it?
Alex Dixon yeah, stock ecu. The previous owner had a Vortex ecu with a single FMF but didn’t sell the bike that way.
Did it change the top speed or anything.

Ty Nagle I meant the exhaust 🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is that a 2008?
It's a 2014, fuel injected!!
Know of any aftermarket duals for an 08 other than the pro circuit
Yeah, I used to have an 08 with Yoshimura duals, and I've seen FMF out there too!
I can’t find any that say it will fit an 08 and it is pissing me off
Man get some grips
How did u get the spark arrestors out? I got one out but the other one is stuck in there
Unscrew the bolt holding them in on the bottom
Poofta boy
Would u be willing to sell one. To a kid with a huge dream of riding a dirtbike for his whole life
Yeah, I rebuild and sell a few a year, but I'm in Kansas City. I rent a couple out as well if you want to go that route, TNmotorental.com
