@@HightechLowlife-r8x what are the issues? Problems with midi sync not working? I’m only getting it for standalone use/to pair with and sample into my 404.
seriously good stuff this, great job. could you explain how you got that bassline movement , was it a random lfo on the filter cutoff or some motion recording, or something else?
@@HightechLowlife-r8x Wow, all of that from the internal sequencer?! ...seems pretty damn solid to me, don't know what people are complaining about then.
@@annother3350 I have a braids oscillator in eurorack ( Wich the microfreak is based on ) and it's the most preset like oscillator I have because the controls are simplified and are sort of macros. I fear the microfreak feels the same.
impressive
sounds like some lost aphex beats, thanks its beautiful:)
Well done
This is what I needed to see. This and Alex Ball are the 2 best demos by far. The jams are sick.
Be aware all is not pink and we’re awaiting a big update from Roland, I can’t have it synced properly with elektrons boxes for now.

Pattern change work only in pattern mode, and it receive pc at the end so it s moving to next pattern always 1 pattern late from the elektrons.
@@HightechLowlife-r8x gotcha thanks. Any other issues to be aware of?
@@HotStrange no pretty usable as you can hear and see , the video was recorded with the previous firmware
Dope. I’ve been debating whether to go for a SH4D, this sounds great… might have persuaded me. Nice one, thanks.
Actually incredible! You have taste!
best video for this machine so far.
Thanks a lot! Very glad you liked it

Difficult to answer because there’s 19 minutes full of baseline but usually yes it’s an lfo but not on the cutoff
Perfect utilisation hombre. Picking one up soon. Nice work mate.
Thanks 👍
This sounds amazing!
@@eptiar thanks a lot for the comment , really appreciate
Awesome work! I've got SH-4D too but haven't tinkered it too much yet. This is very inspiring.
Glad you like it! Don’t Forget to subscribe i.Ve got more coming
this is very cool
very very nice, best on whole TH-cam! does this thing have scale mode, so You can play only in for expample a minor ?
very glad you like it! sadly no scale, oldschool device , you are the scale mode !!!
really really nice! how does it fit into your setup, sonically, considering your modular gear?
Sh-4d for composing melodies, modular for sound design & algorithmics glitch ,modular can sequence the sh-4d also
great!!
all sound from this machine?
Yes only sh4-d. On some patterns I don't even use the 4th track
thx for impressive sound and cool tracks!!
i look forward to your next work!
Damn, this was incredible. Many have complained about the sequencer, what are you using to sequence it?
I'm using the sh-4d sequencer, the midi in is just for the sync with ableton
@@HightechLowlife-r8x Wow, all of that from the internal sequencer?! ...seems pretty damn solid to me, don't know what people are complaining about then.
@@ryanhursh6322 yes, saving is a bit cumbersome but sequencer is pretty solid, there's some useful shortcuts in the user manual
the sequencer is pretty decent. easy to use a daw or another synth to input notes too.
only video i have watched thats made me question getting the minifreak i am about to buy, all the other demos of this seem a bit uninspiring..
I wanted/needed a Roland synth for so long i could not pass on this one.😅😊
im sure the minifreak is good but this has a kick ass drum machine too.
I love my minifreak but am also ordering this now. They are both great additions.
I think the minifreak is a more in-depth programmers synth. This is a bit less editable but is more instant gratification and has good features
