CS2 is so bright and saturated to increase visibility. In cs:go most pros increase the digital vibrance in the Nvidia control panel aswell as using some kind of black EQ on their monitor.
i use the nvidia in game filters or whatever theyre called and the game just looks horrendous without it when you get used to it and i mean it literally looks unplayable
I literally refused to play csgo based on absolutely ridiculous line ups and the dirty ass look. If CS kept the old maps and released some new ones where new players aren't at an extreme disadvantage I'd pick it up. But it's kinda expected you understand how to play the maps. Same in valorant.
@@clipsedrag13 I mean, it's not like you can't get into CS without these things. People have been doing that for 20 years and all of a sudden valorant is out and now CS is impossible to get into? Most people in low ranks just run around the map and click people and it works (in lower ranks). With time your gonna get better and the funny thing is that you don't need to learn a single lineup to get global. Most of the nades thrown with lineups, can be thrown on the fly and as for "the dirty ass look": the game was never meant to be pretty, it was always meant to have good gameplay as priority number 1 (which is also why it took so long to get updated to source 2).

Pentester of CS2 here, fullscreen in 1080p will work fine brightness wise ,but as soon as you go to 1600x900 , all the hdr and post processing will be maxing itself out for no reason causing the screen to be super light. I went back to csgo to play some dust 2 and I gotta say I think the lighting and color in cs2 definitely needs work. It feels too much like overwatch and not counter strike.

same as brightness in settings. idiot Map highlights areas in cs2 are now too bright. Nothing will help unless valve fix it and make color balance like in csgo Changing the gamma in cs2 only makes the issue worse, making the dark spots way too dark while some bright parts are still way too bright, making some maps look really terrible. things like this would happen in csgo if the resolution's settings weren't set in the graphics control panel
I prefer CS2 color cause in CSGO everything looks the same (for me) so, yeah it helps with colorblindness
