Both have different art style, CS2 is more on semi realistic while Valorant is more cartoonish.

Keep in mind cs 2 had to hold back from the full potential of source 2 engine for competitive reasons for better fps and it still looks this good.
literally they could've done a separate DLC for that. have the base game be FPS friendly and an additional graphical update as a free DLC just for fun
I'm not a valorant fan (never played it) but have still to say, that same goes to valorant. It's made on unreal engine and we all know the potential unreal has. But the graphics still look like ass in valorant because they want more fps

@@PlanetXerox CS2 isn't a graphical upgrade though. It's a completely new game made on a new engine, with some shared resources but a ton of them being remade or upgraded. They're incompatible.
You can still play CSGO on community servers and offline if you want.

Glass example for Valorant should've been the glass behind Tree on Ascent. For Destructible object for Valorant, you could've picked the pot in Bind - Connector

Yea that glass is destructible, but it's too quick animation not to interfere with the visibility... So the physics is not looked at
Ah yes of course some bottles and pots are destructible in valorant, but they are some kind of a easter egg
the fact that you have to pinpoint one specific glass that breaks kinda shows the lack of effort from the valorant devs on that regard. you could choose any glass on cs and it breaks like in the vid

The reason why Valorant doesn't offer most of the CS2 features is that RIOT wants it to run on a basic pc it's the same principle they have on League of legends they want it to be easily accessible to everyone.

This is a completely dead game. If you don’t believe it, the game released in 2021 has 5 million online versus 1 million. Even a deer understands that Valorant is much better than cs2

exactly. none of the players of any FPS arena shooter care about realism. Dumb video. Thank god things are not realistic in val. It allows me to play it on a potato PC. I can't play CS even at lowest settings. Both games have different appeals and artstyles. It's not a minus point that val is unrealistic lol. He should have compared the gameplay mechanics. In that both games excel. Or compare features like "replay". Val loses there. Again, dumb video.

@@KamiKazeE9999 lmao, "different" games that share the same concept and idea? Mechanics are slightly different, basically a reskin of mechanics that were present since cs 1.6. Valorant brings some new features ofc, as well as some new mechanics, but they're not fundamental and you can play without using them. Valorant is basically a rip-off for weebs at this point, at least that's what most people think about it (that don't play it I mean)

Well counter strike is pretty mature and they build it from scratch in source 2 for less spaghetti code
@IAm-zo1bo of course, all gaming engines do! That is how Unity or Real engine or Source 2 etc.. should work. What I meant was, if you have football in the game, in cs, you can move it. Sometimes, you can move the bomb with that object as a CT player, which sucks for the T side, or we could call it a bug

CS 2 It is made to look as realistic as possible, Valorant is more cartoony because they focus more on the gameplay. If Valorant were realistic it would ruin the entire experience due to the IMMENSE amount of abilities that can appear on the screen. How would you make a possessed green dog look realistic? Or a sage wall with realistic textures?

yeah, the thing is valorant matches are really chaotic. Just look at pro play, the entire screen is filled with abilities and smokes and gunfire as it is, there isnt really a point to have fine details since no one is ever going to see them

Hm, I'm not an expert but I'd say cs is more competetive as you don't have these abilities, agents that force to play a certain role and gamebreaking ultimates. Cs has a lower "randomness-factor", aswell as it's winning the price for the best competetive game for years in a row 😂. Also because of stuff like spray patterns (which only exist in cs, in valo its random) spraying has a higher role. If you start to get in higher elos or also pro level valorant, i feel like its just "whoever places his crosshair on the enemies head faster wins", which you could see as competetive, but in my opinion that a bit boring

Used to play valorant since beta. Was cs player before. Switched to cs from valorant, because game just stopped working on my system (riot games just can't make properly working client, which will work just fine on every compatible system). Still playing cs, switched to cs2 and not going back to valorant.

I just have one question, how much did CS 2 and VALORANT do?
CS2 is more of realism and aesthetics + detailing while Valorant is just very optimized by Riot to support any end device (low-end to high-end). Most of Valorant's maps are 2d planes or hollow 3d models - this is done to optimize the game. We all know what UE 4 or UE 5 is capable of.
UE 4 is capable of editing cool cs fragmovies yes 👍👍👍

@@harppen1928 install valorant on ssd.. i have like 4gigs of ram..intel hd graphics..and Pentium processor.. but i installed valo on my ssd. And on low settings I get around 30-50 fps... which is not great but atleast playable.. gonna upgrade my ram to 8 gigs soon.. maybe then I will get 40+ fps constant
I feel it’s kinda unfair comparing the two. Both graphically and fundamentally. Sure Valorant, as far as the basic fundamentals go is definitely inspired by CS, but it all comes down to if you like the abilities more or not and whether you were with CS in its early days plays a huge role in it as well.
I started with val, I figured that given cs:go age at the time, I thought it’d be filled with sweats and the game and randoms wouldn’t be too new player friendly. But, I do plan to play CS2 at some point as well once I gauge the state the game is in at some point or another.

I actually haven’t touched CS2 since I played with some friends because they were being complete a holes poking fun at the fact I ever even touched val and I honestly enjoy val more anyway. I personally prefer the extra level of play with abilities and I love the personality and synergy between the lore and characters.

Valorant doesn't look like a mobile game at all. It's just that you CS players can't stay relevant without comparing your glitched, stupid game with Valo, where people can peek like MJ, the head hit box is not on the head, the movement is effed up and what not.

CSGO did too and even at that time CS players couldn't stay put and would target valo for no reason. I wrote this comment when CS2 was at the peak of it's glitch turmoil.

Both are excellent games and run pretty well on potato computers. The real difference is in spell usage. If you like it go Valorant, if you don't and want to focus more on aim go CS2

Let it be real. Despite CS2 doesn't stand against big AAA games, they still manage to over delivery. Val, using Unreal Engine 4-5, came out 3 years ago with mobile graphic . Yeah, you can argue because Riot leans toward tomato PC and cartoonish but look at Overwatch, or Genshin Impact, or even Demo game of Unreal Engine. I believe that Riot just want to have low development cost, bump skins more frequently, more appeal to youngling.

Kinda unfair for Valorant becaue it has older grapics and cartoony style. So they have no chance in Graphics quality. Also Valorant can run on worse PCs than CS2 can (CSGO was smoother than valorant on bad PCs but CS2 not) so it could be concidered a W that Vaalorant doesnt have as good quality. Also some things are different because of Valorant story. Spike explodes so weird because it doesnt destroy but rather sucks the radianite (basically energy) from the environment. Also you can destroy Glass in Ascent at tree and destroy objects on Bind. Also there are no Grenades in val so flashbangs and smokegrendaes are not comparable. And Razes grenade looks like this because it kinda is her signature to be colorful. Shadows are debatable because you cant use some corners to hide. I feel like in CS its ok because its a realistic game but in Valorant its not necesarry. Also you dont need to be able to swim in Fps games in my opinion too.
You can't swim in CS2. There is no area for you to be able to do that in a real game; he just went under one of the maps to do that.

(Also I remembered you can sort of swim on a little lake with moss in a map I forgot the name of) But Valve might actually make it a thing in many other maps in the future, possibly. En valorant hay tantas cosas que es DEMASIADO; hay como 20 personajes cada uno con 4 poderes diferentes, si quieres ser decente en el juego debes aprender a usarlos, a contrarrestar lo de los otros, DEMASIADAS MECANICAS

Yo quiero solo disparar y lanzar granadas y ya, no tener que pasar mas horas aprendiendo a usar los personajes que jugando

Valorant does look like a ported mobile shooter game, graphics and physics wise. While art style is purely subjective, Counter-strike 2 is objectively better at these 2 criteria however you look at it. The original will always be better than the copycat.

I feel like you just can't or shouldn't compare Cs2 with valorant, they're completely different games but same category. @@Tacooh_ Valorant is and will be one of Counter-Strike clones. The overall core gameplay, the mechanics, the economy management & buying phase, the map design, the bomb defuse mode, movement, spray pattern, skins, etc. They are too similar to be classified as separate genres.

@@keppa1846 bro you are delusional. 1. Valorant anti cheat uses a cheap and invasive method that valve could make in an hour...and despite being so invasive it still fails. Valorant is full of Cheaters and often riot had to ban players manually because their anti cheat didn't work.
2. Valve avoids this cheap and invasive method and is constantly innovating and trying to find another way. Idea that it didn't work at all is just delusional. In prime matches in higher ranks you would get a cheater once in like every 20-30 games and even then the match would get erased after that cheater gets banned later.

While in CSGO I can download the first source, change the signatures and remain unnoticed. In Valorant, the most you can do is buy an Arduino and play with a pixel bot. To run something intelligible, you need to have knowledge of writing kernel-level drivers, and as soon as you make it public, Riot will close it.
When I play Valorant, I am 99% sure that a cheater is not playing against me. In CSGO, I develop paranoia and you start to think that even a legitimate player is playing with cheats.

CS2 had years to develop these maps and its details, valorant is just 3 years old obviously the maps arent this detailed and also bcoz of competitve reasons so as to not affect fps. Some Agent abilities already affect the fps as it is they dont need to add these details to affect gameplay. And btw valorant can easily put these details in the game if they want, its made with unreal engine 4 god damnit but theres a reason they didnt cus it literally serves 0 purpose in competitve play for a game thats all about it.

Didn't know both games were not competitive fps shooter but rather a graphics marvel. Valorant gets like 500fps while cs2 gets 300.

Idc what you like just enjoy the game that you like, spread non toxic relationship to your teammates especially when you queue solo (if no one is kind then be the one), help your friends to rank up if you're the good one or ask for help if they are the one, build a good community, tell to the developers what you didn't like and what's need to be fix, do not use cheat because you're destroying the game that people love if you cheat just play GTAV single player. be competitive if you're ready practice practice practice! repeat if you failed do not be a villain if you can't achieve all of these. then teach your future kids to do the same. remove that comparison toxicity and you'll be happy playing your game.
