    I never leave youtube comments, but somehow every time I need to do something with my bike you're up here with the video on how to sort it. A modern day saint of sorts. Great job.

    Absolutely great video. Even a dummy like myself can go into this job confidently. Having really good tools is one thing, but knowing the nuanced stuff is necessary. Thanks man!

    Man, this is excellent! I'm litterally just noticing some play in this very rear-wheel, so wanted to swap the bearings but couldn't find proper instructions. This will help a lot. Thanks again!

      How long do you have them. My pair didn't give me problems for two years.

    • @Ongelofelijk15000
      @Ongelofelijk15000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@taichihead42 Riding them for 2 years exactly! Front is perfect. The rear had just a few mm's of play. Opening the hub it looked very clean, and I could find only the tiniest of play in the bigger bearing (driving side). SWapped both bearings and now it's perfect again.

      @@Ongelofelijk15000 I haven't taken mine apart yet but I am pretty impressed with them. Where did you purchase the spare bearings from? I wonder are the spokes difficult to find as they are flat and not round.

    • @Ongelofelijk15000
      @Ongelofelijk15000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@taichihead42 I don't know about the spokes, but I bought some bearings at a local bearing website (lagerkoning.nl), though I usually buy then in 'bulk' from aliexpress. Checking the specs carefully helps (Abec- 3 at least). If you want to make sure the bearing are good, try the brand 'Enduro'.

    Hello, for this wheels it's possible to use a press instead of socket to put in place the bearing? Thank you best regards.

    After my front wheel, also the reer wheel didn't go as smooth as in this video, but I succeeded:). The bearings were stuck and only came out after using penetrating oil and heat. Also struggled a bit with the freehub. When I put it back in the first time, the pins were flat and the freehub wouldn't turn so make sure have the pins sticking outwards. Pulling the freehub back out (took some effort) one pin came loose. Looking at the others I saw how to put it back in place luckily and after that I could re-insert the freehub like in this tutorial. Hopefully this helps should someone have the same experience ;)

    Great video as usual! I get a creak/clunk coming from the rear wheel when I pedal. Have you ever experienced this or have idea what it could be? It’s definitely the wheel as I put it on a friends bike and the same noise could be heard. Many thanks.

    Tried to use this video for my team 35’s not sure if they are an older model but,
    in the left hand side there is no 5mm slot just a clean axel, on the freehub side there is however a 5mm slot, any thoughts on this would be appreciated ? Thanks

    I followed the instructions exactly to remove the freehub but after using the 5mm allen keys, my freehub doesn't come of. Anyone some advice? Thanking you in advance!

    Is there any way this rear wheel could be converted to a 135mm dropout spacing? It seems a 5mm wider non drive side spacer would do the trick, just a matter of finding one. Currently I use Shimano wheels as they use cup and cone bearings with simple threaded axles, of course re-dishing the wheel is required, but I'd love to open my options up to a broader range of wheels; 135mm rear is a bit rare for rim brake.

      You must have the same type as I do, it unscrews with a 12 mm allen key ( it was really tight so had to use a socket breaker bar and 12mm allen bit)
