    • @adanielweaver

      Orange seat clamp and stem to match the forks. Size Large. Otherwise, looks perfect.

    • @paulpags1256
      @paulpags1256 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Change to cleats, 34t chainring, saint brakes, agressor rear tire, change to crank to a Raceface next, syncros integrated handlebars, have a Coil kit in the fork, then it would be perfect

    • @paulpags1256
      @paulpags1256 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also nvm the coil kit in the fork, cuz it'll be a trust shout fork, and change the hubs to industry nine hydra

      Bearings! Step up your headset and BB game!! Plenty of avenues for more matchy-matchy, and gotta love the longevity/reliability of some of the aftermarket mfg's.

    • @TheLostCo
      @TheLostCo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      People are going to keep riding Maxxis as long as tires say Maxxis on them so I needed to find a compound/sidewall setup that worked well. Double Down front and rear works great with MaxxGrip up front and Dual Compound in the rear. I like Maxxis tread patterns best out of all tire brands and was mainly unhappy with how terrible EXO tires were with puncture resistance.

    Nice build, teal seems to be getting popular.. I just installed semi metallic pads on my 2018 Spectral, noticeable improvement. You might want to think of installing the 54 tooth set up on those 240's, I had a 2016 Focus Raven max SL with DT XRC 1200 wheels and put in the 54 tooth, sounds SO COOL plus yes faster engagement than the typical and highly reliable 36, just sold about a month ago

    Greetings from Berlin, Germany 👍😬

    • @TheLostCo

      I basically only rode bike park this summer and I'm a light guy. Rough trails and long days feel best with very active suspension. This is why I typically never share my suspension settings because they are totally independent to every person's weight, riding style, terrain and bike setup.

And yes I'm proud of it, it's a originally at 3 by 9 now 2 or 3 by 10 all I want to do is have fun and not worry about the back wheel falling off. A dropout on the rear and it bit concerning. IDK if this is the right place to ask but worth a shot. Is the Kona blast a good beginner bike? Not sure if it's a xc or a trail bike and can't really find anything online. Ive been riding dirtbikes for a long time and I think I'll be able to pick up mountain biking fast so want something that will last me a while as I progress. I was also looking at the cindercone. If there is another bike sometime could suggest my budget is $1000

      Uhhh not sure 100%, we just use a copyright free music service which uses pretty generic music and we never really pay attention to artist names or song titles. Usually just find something that fits the vibe!

    Is it just me or on really steep granny gear climbs do 27.5 wheels feel less tiring?
