  • ‪@LaurieLawrenceCoach‬ I interact with two young freestyle swimmers at an ASCTA coaching course on the Gold Coast. Young swimmers must concentrate of technique. Good stroke development is their future in the sport of swimming. Observe carefully as we encourage concentration and competition as we search for that elusive feel of the water. All great swimmers hold the water. Communicate with young swimmers about that elusive feel, and, encourage it. Get more online swim teaching progressions:

I can't find a proper teacher in London, all lessons are chaotic at best and 30 minutes long once a week. Thank you very much for your videos, I'll top up my son's practice now.

My daughter is eleven, has had quite some training, but is tall and has thin upper body.. I wish I would have someone so experienced help her correct her style... We are in the Czech Republic. I really like your approach with kids.

If your child wants to swim competitively the most important thing is perfect stroke!
I’ve attended 8 Olympic Games and never seen a winner with bad technique

My weakness now on freestyle is body rotation and to maintin legs on the surface of the water. Everytime I take a breath / inhale, my legs is always going down which can cause delay on my next stroke.

I'd also like a movie on how to do a somersault in the water.
    Please consider it.

Coaching banter. Encouraging all kids to try harder. competion breeds improvement! .Try it. It just may work for you.

Low stroke count needs more effective rotation and pull and body position ✅✅
