Once, a group of us were sitting around discussing Nickelback, and two people (whom I barely knew) said they could not stand Nickelback. I asked them to name one Nickelback song. Neither could. I then asked them to even say one Nickelback lyrics. Again, neither could. They just thought they'd say it to sound cool and then everyone would hop on board with them.

Listen man they were one of the best bands in the world throughout the 90's and early 2000's at least 20 decades under their belt irrefutablely.. And huge international record labels wouldn't sign any bands if they didn't sound like them.. It's just the haters hating like they do the best like Mainstream media, Music Aficionados, Idiots, and jealous people.. They didn't sell 50 million albums worldwide being a garbage band and on all the radio channels across the world unequivocally.. They are also the second best foreign band that sold the most albums in America just under the iconic biggest band in the world the Beetles who are first.. That has to tell all the hating dummies something but they are to stupid to know facts.. Trust..
They are great live... the sound is perfect and their voices, on pitch in every song... oh, and they are also very funny: asked the audience if they wanted to sing along and started playing "All the Small Things" from Blink-182😂😂😂

Just saw them last weekend at the Churchill Park Music Festival. AMAZING! One of the best concerts I’ve been to. So good live. They finished their encore and the night with this song and the place went crazy. It was awesome!
I'm 54, I saw Van Hagar back in the early 90's @ Red Rocks, what an epic venue!!! I still live in the 80's, give or take 5yrs, musically. I have liked a few new rockers over the years, but absolutely can't stand today's music. I have to say, I've been to plenty of concerts around the world, but these guys sound the same in the studio or live, very rare...PHENOMENAL!!!
In all honesty, I've dabled with Nickelback over the years, and they've definitely been one of those secret bands I sorta like 😆. I enjoy playing their songs on guitar sometimes.

Chad Kroeger and James Hetfield are 2 singers I think a lot of people take for granted, but they have been screaming for decades with little difference. People praise Chris Cornell, but realistically, his vocals were shot after 10 years.
Is this a post from an alternate reality? Without comment on Chad, James Hetfield lost his ability to scream after he blew his voice out in 1993. He started to "Sing song" most of the parts he used to yell after this because he simply couldnt do it anymore. The difference in Hetfield's voice after the Justice/Black Album is night and day. As for Chris Cornell the dude sounded consistent throughout his entire career and could still hit most of the high notes. There were a few he wouldn't go to shortly before he died, but overall that dude sounded the same.
