I find it ridiculously funny how he pronounced Bologna as 'BOLONA' but still proceeded to pronounce Lasagna correctly IN THE SAME SENTENCE.
He also mispronounced Spezia (and Lecce in other videos).
Irish Guy is awful at foreign pronunciations, so no surprise. Tbh most English native speakers are
Zealand catching strays
Exactly what I thought 😂. Irish Guy saw Zealand play FM and he was like: "Hmmm seems what a football hipster does"
Thought the same thing. Haha.
which timestamp? i used to see irish guy using a zealand picture whenever something about football hipster is mentioned or something
They’d make a great duo
@@yungtrashlord12:44
Irish guy woke up and decided to have beef with Zealand for no reason 😂
Wouldn't be the first time
So basically signing anyone outside of England or a top European club is called hipster 😂
1:20 why are you acting like no one has ever heard of Spezia? 😂
He has little footy knowledge
Sounds like a brand of Hawaii Pizza to me
Though spezia were Swiss pasta or something 😅
His schtick is to be a bantering clown with little football knowledge. Just ignore the mistakes and have fun.
But Irish, you are the most hipster looking footuber
Ah yes, Spezia less obscure than Zilina which played in Champions League more times than Newcastle did.
La Spezia played 3 seasons in one of the biggest leagues in the world. Zilina have reached the group stages of the Champions league once, where they got battered 7-0, 4-1, & 3-0 by Chelsea, Marseille and Spartak Moscow, and lost every single game. Zilina aren’t a very well known club internationally, not many people care about Slovak football, especially considering they aren’t even the best team in Slovakia. Spezia are definitely more well known than Zilina, especially in modern times. Zilina also have not played in the UCL more than Newcastle. Zilina 29 Games, Newcastle 30 Games. Mind you Newcastle did that in a much harder league also.
@@isaacjones5687 Zilina 7 seasons in CL, Newcastle 4. 7>4 ergo they've played more times. "Newcastle did that in a much harder league" being fourth loser in PL is enough to get to CL, not that impressive and I say it as fan of team that did it many times.
@@maxmach4361 So what? If you want to go by that logic TNS and FC Vaduz are some of the biggest clubs in the world. Anyone can qualify for the Champions league, not everyone can qualify for the group stages. If you don’t get to the Group Stage, then your campaign is completely irrelevant, nobody celebrates making it to Round 2 of the UCL qualifiers. Newcastle have played 30 UCL games, Žilina have played 29. Newcastle have qualified for the group stage more than once, Žilina have only done it once. And believe it or not, winning the Slovakian league is a lot easier than qualifying for champions league in the premier league. The best team in slovakia probably wouldn’t survive the championship let alone the premier league. If newcastle played in slovakia they’d win it every season without struggle. Its a lot easier for smaller teams in smaller leagues, to compete in the UCL, than it is for smaller teams in big leagues to do so.
@@isaacjones5687 Classic argument "if that team played in this league it would dominate" and as always it makes no sense, because those teams in lesser leagues still compete against teams of similar level just like in major ones. And another thing kid, by playing in Premier League teams get more money than those in other leagues. That already gives them a massive advantage and yet with all that advantage, Newcastle still was irrelevant and needed an Arabian sugar daddy. Ask yourself, what that Zilina or Spezia would have done if they had access to all that money?
@@maxmach4361ok hipster
Wataru deserves at least a A-, guy came in and stabilised liverpools CDM role, and got multiple MOM.
He’s average and not going to anything but a rotation player, B is fair
@@Juicerock12for a 15 million buy, he well surpassed any expectations and has been one of the better players this season
@@Juicerock12 he is not a flashy signing that's for sure, but for what Liverpool paid and how well he performed last season he really deserves an A. Maybe he is not going to be the long term CDM starter but last season he really made that role of his own. Multiple MOM says a lot.

his knowledge in geography is even worse than his pronunciation skills, which are even worse than his football takes. All of these are hard to believe, but it's true.

How long before Mourinho becomes hipster
saint Pauli a small German village? It's a district of Hamburg
Whats wrong with signing obscure or lesser known players. Irish guy always seems to despise a player bought for less than 30 million
He’s got the Chelsea executive virus: only cares about signings if they’re hyped to the hills and been chased by monster clubs
If Jose Mourinho or Andoni Iraola made those signings, he would have rave about them as the next big thing 😒
Or eddie howe @@hej97
He also cares way way way too much about looks. I mean a guy like him judging ability based on looks. Ironic to the next level.
it's because he doesn't know anything about them, so he assumes that they're not going to be good, lol.
Irish guy is obsessed with the word 'hipster'. He hates them so much that now he includes that word in almost all of his videos.
And talking about hipster, he hinself is one the biggest hipster if he predicts slovenia out of all team to table top group c. The very epitome of a hardcore nerdy hipster
Not only did he predict Slovenia to top group C, but he also predicted Slovenia to top group C with a record 10 goals, 2 more than the current record for a Euro Group Stage
As a chelsea fan, mudryk is probably a D. He has moments and isnt consistent but is better than any of the other former chelsea players you mentioned in that section like van ginkel

Almost as if he did it on purpose 😱😱
Irish Guy disrespects Rangnick way too much, he’s looked up to by Klopp and Nagelsmann as an inspiration. He was brought in to be a director of football and should never been interim manager.
Nah I think there is way more hype with Rangnick than he should get for the job he did at United. Any United fan who tells you he was good for the club is trying to be “hipster”. In reality he was absolutely woeful.
@@aayushkarnik7166It was United itself, not Rangnick.
@@aayushkarnik7166 my point is he should never have been the coach and it was the club being lazy instead of appointing a new manager. From Rangnick’s point of view it gave him a chance to analyse all the problems in the club including the first team. When he exposed how toxic the dressing room and higher ups in the club were they got rid of him.
From a coaching point of view obviously he wasn’t good enough but that was not his actual job, he hadn’t coached in over 10 years before United and it was clear he wouldn’t be up to it yet the Glazers lazily appointed him because he did it before, The Irish Guy treats him as some random manager and not as the man who has influenced a generation of German football.
@@shush6764 He did not “expose” anything. He just said stuff that we already knew about the club.
It was Ten Hag’s choice to get rid of him which was extremely evident in his first interview with the club.
Nobody saw it as a lazy appointment. At the time everyone lauded the club’s decision to bring in Rangnick, even I did for once think United were acting serious.
The reality is that everyone put him on a pedestal as the entire fanbase was claiming “now we will see tactics and style of play”, which was the complete opposite of what actually happened. United were way worse under Rangnick than they were under Ole.
And because the fans have massive egos and can never be wrong, the narrative completely shifted from bringing in style of play to “he exposed the club”, to get that false sense of him actually doing something and massage their own egos who were completely wrong about the guy.
@@aayushkarnik7166 do you honestly believe ten Hag had the power to get rid of a director of football? He barely knew the guy and he’s the manager not the owners and why would he not want to work with someone or even speak to someone whose job was to help rebuild the club? It’s obvious the club wanted to get rid of him for challenging them. Rangnick in fairness was naive to think that that crap squad could suddenly play high intensity gegenpressing football but the stories coming out about playing training in the dark was beyond pathetic. The players are the biggest problem (after the Glazers) and that was further highlighted with the amount of embarrassing complaints they made and how they would openly mock Rangnick behind his back.

Congratulations to Fabian Hürzeler for taking Brighton to the champions league this season
Let me ask you this Irish guy: If Fabian Hurzeler is an F, who should have appointed? Steve Cooper? Graham Potter? We failed to get McKenna and the other options are bang average.
Steve Cooper and Graham Potter are both very good managers and are definitely suited for the Brighton job, just because they don’t have exotic foreign names or haven’t managed in some obscure leagues, doesn’t make them bang average. Graham Potter is the reason you are, where you are right now. You are Brighton, not Liverpool. You are a small club. You should be thankful these managers even consider you in the first place. You qualified for europe once and think you’re massive.
@@isaacjones5687 no I don’t think we’re massive. I’d take a risk on an inexperienced manager who could actually be better than championship level. And as for Graham potter, although he is a good manger, he is a snake, he left us for Chelsea and then got sacked. Things would just turn sour if he returned .

Hey Faivre has an English Wikipedia page too, it just appears lower on search
He uses Wikipedia for the basis of all his research but doesn’t know that you can change the language on it 🤦♂️
If a player hasn't appeared for a club, he gets an N/A, but Hurzeler, who has yet to manage a single match for Brighton gets an F?
Didn’t age well either. 7 points in 3 games with a draw away at Arsenal and a win against United.
I love how the Mudryk fee is so often quote so badly wrong, "100 MILLIONS POUNDS" or "100 MILLION EUROS!" being the most often quoted....
it's 70m euros or £62m....
still distinctly overpriced, but not close to 100m.
he has add-ons which would take him closer to £100m but they're triggered for the likes of "winning the CL" and "Winning the Ballon D'or" if he does either, than the fee becomes intrinsically justified.
He just reeks of mediocrity!
Just like Frenkie De Jong!
That doesn’t take into account potential add ons. It’s probably closer to about €80-85 million, all things considered.
@@isaacjones5687 I literally mentioned the add-ons...
they would take it higher but they're performance contingent, in order for him to reach those he'd need to do things that would make that £85m total intrinsically worth it.

Tottenham has no loyalty. Brad friedel was the number one with an amazing starting streak. No explanation, lloris was number one. Why would lloris expect anything different?

I think we need to cement the difference between being a hipster and being a nerd. Alfie defitnitely spends more time reading up on Bulgarian managers from the 40s than, yknow, talking to actual people, but I doubt he's ever paid more than a tenner for a haircut.

Let's be real. Mudryk wasn't a hipster signing. He was a virtue signal signing to appease the FA dictators.
Elaborate
@@domsnow6418 Our Russian owner was forced to sell, and we overspend on a Ukranian player from a Ukranian club. That doesn't feel like a coincidence.
@@masonhenderson0221 was Arsenal buying Zinchenko also virtue signaling? Or is it only so if the player turns out bad?
@domsnow6418 Wow. I guess I have to state the obvious here.
First, Zinchenko has also been a bad signing for Arsenal, so your comment makes little sense.
Second, and more obviously, Arsenal had no Russian connections, was buying a player from a well-known club, was buying a player the manager had worked with before, was buying a player that had played in the Premier League, was buying a player that filled a position they needed to improve on, AND only paid 10 mil over his price tag, even though it was a rival club. (Chelsea paid 30 mil, almost double, Mudryk's price, and have him a ridiculously long contract)
@@masonhenderson0221 chelsea has ridiculously long contracts with all new players. Mudryk is just bad business like almost all other signings. Has nothing at all to do with any conspiratory scenarios you brew up in your head.
