Hey System, look at the mod Utilitarian in ATM9. There's carpets for the trader to arrive in on, instead of in your face. There's also a No Solicitor's banner you can put up to remove them completely.
21:10 I think that's mostly just you. Compacting drawers are a huge convenience and almost never result in calculation issues. If you're having problems, it's either because you've got some old compacting recipes floating around or because you simply need more resources. If you aren't running lean, it isn't an issue. Very few recipes use multiple equivalent items, and (special cases aside) conflation of those is only an issue if you don't have enough total material in your system for the craft. As for not setting up recipes: it's lazy if interfaces are cheap and channels are turned off. The rest of the time, it's efficient use of space, channels and material.
That is simply incorrect, to quote Eugene from GTA RP Nopixel. "Why problem have when no problem make". Why set yourself up for edge case issues when it can be easily avoided.
compacting drawers in small non expert modpacks are not to bad but with expert packs that can have end game items that can take thousands of ingredients they can be deadly I've had modpacks hang due of the value reported by compacting drawers does not match what the drawer really holds as SC said when you put 1 block of iron in compacting drawer it reports back to the RS/ME system that you have 1 block 9 bars and 81 nugg avalible for use so imagine an endgame craft and you have 1000 ingots and the craft needs 500 blocks and 300 nugs and 6000 iron (10534 ingots total) due to the way the compacting drawer works your system will think you have enough and the ME/RS system will try to take them making the drawer say nope I don't have these and the RS/ME goes but you told me you did so I'm going to keep trying to take em like a 3 year old when given half a kinder egg and next bye bye server. Sometime if your lucky and have resources coming in fast enough the difference comes in before the ME/RS item requests crash the server
@@martincassidy2102 I don't think that's the cause of your instability. I've made extensive use of compacting drawers in many heavy modpacks, including Divine Journey 2, Stoneblock 3, ATM 7, etc. I've never had stability issues (from compacting drawers). Instead of getting a "not enough resources" error, you get a "resources not actually in inventory" error. Either way, you can just cancel the craft and get more of whatever you were lacking. No difference from a player perspective. It's also worth noting that there are multiple mods that add "compacting drawers". Maybe the mod you were using happened to release a bad version? System's comment section is the only place I've seen complaints like this.
@@martincassidy2102 Hmm, this actually make sense, although I can't think of a craft that would require it, it is indeed possible. Tho in early game, I'd still go with compacting drawer as I don't wanna deal with crating a higher tier of something only to need a lower one after it then the crafter will try to down craft it which then cause a different issue, although that probably only applies to RS, since you can "replan" (was it?) in AE2. Edit: I can't make sense of what I'm talking, i need to sleep 😅

Why are you not placing the flux plug directly on the power tap? If you actually do want the power to go into the network slower, just set a limit on the plug.
@@Systemcollapse Switch it to an Active Power Tap. The only difference seems to be whether or not the power gets auto-pushed out of the tap. (or leave it as is, up to you)
Any uranium should work in place of yellorium, but the Industrial foregoing ore laser drill setup will produce yellowrium ore if you're set on using it.
Disagree on compacting drawers. The only time you'd have a problem is if you're stocking only a small amount, and two recipes try for two types at the same time, where the system needs more than you stock. It is true that you can make recipes for blocks and nuggets, but it is also true that it creates additional steps in the crafting process. This adds load and resource use in the autocrafting system. Further it increases tick usage and can negatively affect your server performance. With the sheer number of compressible items, I find it preferrable to pop them all in drawers and let the system pull what it wants. I know the number of items is deceptive, but the system won't care.
This is definitely true once you get plenty of items, it's the early game that's the concern, especially those items that use nuggets and ingots (and / or ingots and blocks, and / or nuggets and blocks). AE2 (or RF) thinks it has plenty of materials, but runs out quickly without letting you know. Again, edge cases and only when player is low on materials.
Thats probably Piglins and the Twillight Cloak , you need to change the config for Reliquary and set the light Threshold for the Cloak to 0 to be able to move again

Oh those carpets sound amazing.
@@Systemcollapse I knew you had that in you, look at the second ones lol
Its 4am and im watching videos very normal sleep routine
You might want to make it so the reactor turns on when its below %30 and turns off when its above %80 so it doesn’t toggle on and off constantly
This is good advice. When it toggles on and off, the casing never reaches max temp, so the efficiency is very low.
Love the videos. I didn't think ATM seemed fun until I watched this series.
Just when my first reactor runs out of power you make this video for the bigger version. You are so fucking awesome man!
Getting caught up! Loving the series, please keep it going and thank you!
ATM9 is my first modpack and after watching this video I realized how very wrong my playtrough is XD. I'm now overwhelmed.

Hey system, when you were building the reactor, I heard some sirens, what is that about?
Not sure about 4 firetruck went by the house it seemed.
What do you use to fly?
Crazy to me that a huge reactor like this makes 220k rf/tick and a nitro generator makes 250k in a 3x3x4
