Fun Fact: Henry did in fact make it to CIT and sold the LAERs he had, and you'll learn more about Henry and Earl in the Institute Arsenal Overhaul Redux
I just want to say you've been doing an incredible job with all these energy weapon restorations! I cannot wait to see the new Institute Arsenal Overhaul.
Have you ever thought of making a NV plasma rifle with the LAER animations? Since I'm pretty sure the LAER in NV borrowed is animations from the plasma rifle. I'd love to see a mod like that, love your rendition of the LAER btw great work.
I wish Alexerator would do a version of the Recharger rifle too. There's a mod for already, but it uses quest updates for the recharging, and that leads to stuttering
@@DegenerateDak Ah yes the modifiable unique variant, I remember it, mainly because I went out of my way to not only get it but modify it with all the LAER mods.
Ngl, if this was distributed like the older mod I'd go for it. I use that as a "replacement" for the institutes main service weapon, the "institute laser flashlight". Honestly lots of cool mods coming out of late I love it.
Happy new year !! Recently discovered your channel and I’m loving all the mod that you’ve found ! I was wonder what’s the mod for the classic /NV Style HUD ? And if there is Xbox support ? Thank you and keep up the good work !
We need more leveled list mods for these cool weapons I love fighting against people with these cool guns not to mention I love my settlers having these guns
As much as I'm glad for Institute enjoyers that are getting all this love with Institute weaponry, I still feel that the Minutemen desperately need a proper successor to their crummy laser musket, one of the most iconic and dis-pleasurable weapons to use in that it's a crank-operated single-shot rifle that even the pipe weapons made of metal tubes and wood is more efficient at where really you can only use effectively as a last-rate sniper rifle. The closest there's been for a iconic, Americana militia rifle is the laser garand but that's over-powered as heck, I'm hoping one day for a laser Springfiled rifle.
If nothing else, it should have a Recharger cell in the laser musket, as that's WHY it's crank...you're cranking a generator. But Bethesda gave up on making it not use fusion cells. It would be a lot cooler if it didn't use up ammo. And as much as I love energy weapons, New Vegas showed that M1 Garands survived all this time, AND the Gun Runners have taken up making more of them and their ammo. So we should have access to one of the most quintessential of all american rifles. The battle rifle that took on the nazis.
I was thinking on it myself: I love the concept of the laser musket and it being the Minutemen's signature weapon, the sort of high tech take on old flintlock firearms. I've actually thought of my own extensions for this idea: The Sparklock Pistol and the Blasterbuss. The Sparklock is basically a pistol version of the laser musket using a telephone spinny dialer thing to charge it while the Blasterbus is a blunderbuss version that shoots out one big close range blast of energy. Even imagined a unique version of the Sparklock called the Emerald Dragon: a plasma based take on a Wheelock pistol that fires a single shot of a super focused beam of plasma that burns through enemies and some obstacles. Passes clean through them.
@@Cosmic-Sorceress-17 The actual principle behind the LAER could be used to make the Sparklock even cooler and more fitting to the name. What a LAER does is uses a weak 'aiming' laser to both paint a line to the target and to ionize the air around the laser. The weapon then simply dumps an electrical load into that ion stream, which races down it with brutal results. Battletech also has a weapon that does that, the PPC. It's a freaking lightning cannon, and does horrible things to stuff that's not well grounded. Natural lightning usually hits stuff that conducts pretty well, after all, but when it hits stuff with resistance...well...trees burst into flames, are torn in half, and sometimes explode. Same holds true for targets of the manmade weapon.
@@danpitzer765 Huh... So make the Sparklock a makeshift, hand charged electrolaser. I like it! Heck, the Emerald Dragon could be a plasma lightning based version this: no idea how that'd work, especially with it's unique trait of passing straight through foes, but I like the idea! My hope is by putting this out there and starting the conversation, I can inspire people in the modding scene: I'd make the idea reality myself if I had the ability, but I just can't do coding and stuff. Hopefully someone who has that ability sees this.
HMMM I have an idea of something that I might do. Lately I've been really trying to incorporate weapons to use Electron Charge Packs. Why? Because I think that they're really necessary for Fallout in general and completely missed out. I am going to make a patch to make The Rizzler's LAER uses ECP, which would allow for people to get the retrofitted MFC as opposed to the repurposed Institute version. I'll have this patch out probably sometime this week. Thanks for inspiring the idea, Dak!
Is Alexerator dropping a weapon pack? Cause I still haven’t seen his laser rcw mod on the Xbox yet. Is he going to transfer multiple mods at the same time or something?
Well the problem with the other laers rifle mod is if you download a mod like courser crusher. The laer rifle over rights it. It is better to have the choice of a static spawn point.

that feral ghoul interupting you.. Lol 😂

that was the idea, he had a unique laer in OWB

What I love about this version is the projectile. It's not an arc like the Tesla rifle. It's a beam. Which is way better. Thank you alexerator.
I agree, I love the paint jobs from Rizzler's LAER but shooting Alexerator's LAER just feels so much better

think ill use the og. the brushed metal just does it for me
Hey! Awesome review! Telling me all I need to know! Thanx

Why no one, has made a mod, to increase the gb on Xbox? (Sorry my English is bad)
