That tool like a drill is for grinding valves in engines. Some valves have two holes in the head for that end piece to fit into, others just have a straight slot. The valves with the two holes have different spacing depending on the valve maker. Your tool originaly came with extra bits depending on the valve hole spacing.
Wow thanks, I would never have guessed that, but it make sense. Would you know who makes it? I plan to restore it, and knowing what brand it is really helps.
The forked end hand tool is a weed puller. The skinny tool at the end of the video, the one you said might be from England, looks like a gouge from a wood carving set. Googling the rusted tool with the crank, looks like it's a vintage Kunkel hand crank valve grinder. The red clipper tool is pruning clippers, for gardening The Sherwin-Williams tool may be a paint mixing ratio ruler
Thank for the info, one other person also said the Hand Crank Is a valve grinder also. Is Kunkel the Brand name? I think you are correct about the gouge. I will probably try to use it on small projects with the Lathe. Im not good at carving. That makes sense on the paint mixing ratio ruller. Thanks for the input your information is very helpful.
Yep I will, I guess I will clean the phone co. tool up and set it aside. I am going back to that estate , the girl that runs it said she would meet me next week. I don't think there is much left but we will see.
dale nice to see you up and about,30$ for all that you did great screwdrivers nice group of punches nail set nice old craftsman and others the one tool i think it's a brace bit but really different never seen anything like it that cotter pin very odd
I have been told by some of the others it is used for grinding Valves. I plan to do more research on it too many parts missing. Thanks for stopping by Ron. Always good to hear from you.
Love them double box ends the round shaft wrench remind me of Bonney maybe unbranded the kemmer wrenches I’ve never heard of I first thought they were plomb the oil spout is cool my grandfather had a lot of them some said pennzoil and some were Phillips 66
I saw somewhere in my research about the Kimmer that they may be connected to MAC, but I can't prove that for sure. The oil can spout had a different name but I couldn't see it without my glasses. Thanks for watching.
hI wire guage is from orthopaedic surgery for broken femer. . good quality. your butchers tool i think is to get bone marrow out of animal bones. good haul .
The only way I see it is Trust. I'll send you the Ratchet and you send me whatever you are sending. Give me your e mail and I'll send my address. You can find mine on the channel.
Thanks for the offer, I have a couple. I chose to do it by hand because of so many tools to cover. Sorry about the movement I'll try to do better. Thanks for watching.

I know I need one of your tool boxes.
Exactly!!! Go out young man and begin your quest. Do not let a fair maiden or any feast or merriment distract you from your calling. @@Dalesworkshop

Cool haul! Looking forward to the resto vids to come!
I am anxious to get started on them.
Great haul! At 12:20 I always thought this was a weed puller. Not positive.
I looked at some of the similar things on Ebay and they were tack pullers. Not sure my self. It will make a great project.
Great haul Dale! Lots of good stuff. That telephone tool looks like it might be a crimper of some kind. You are going to be busy for a while!
Yep I will, I guess I will clean the phone co. tool up and set it aside. I am going back to that estate , the girl that runs it said she would meet me next week. I don't think there is much left but we will see.

Thanks George, the lady has invited me back to see what is left. Maybe I can do another haul. We will see.
The ruler you had, from Sherwin Williams is for measuring for paint. Great haul,I'm envious.
It was a good haul. I found some good stuff. Do you want the paint measuring stick?
I like how you keep it moving along, not to slow not to fast
Thanks and thank you for watching.
Amazing haul 👍👍
Thank you! 🤗 It was like Christmas going through all that stuff. I even went back to get more. Thanks for watching my friend.
Wow! Great haul Dale!
Thanks 👍 It was like Christmas.
Glad you are feeling better. Interesting haul for the money. Will keep you intertwined for quite awhile. ❤😎
That it will Carl. Thank you for watching.
Absolutely amazing haul for $30.
I think so too! I was surprised when she said $30.
That double end wrench looks a like a John Deere wrench. I've got one almost like it.
Are you talking about the round one?
5:40 That looks just like the Blackhawk...which looks a lot like the MAC.....
Which one? I did have one MAC the small wrench called Cob. And I am not sure about the Kimmer Line tool it may be related to MAC no proof though.
That line wrench...I think it was 3/8" & 7/16" The way it was marked made me think of that. @@Dalesworkshop

Hey Don I saw your video on the Drill. Just wanted you to know the comments are turned off. Didn't know if you knew or not.
@@Dalesworkshop Thanks Dale I’ll have to look into that
Oh, my favorites are the two torpedo levels.
I really like the small one, but there was no name on it.
hI wire guage is from orthopaedic surgery for broken femer. . good quality. your butchers tool i think is to get bone marrow out of animal bones. good haul .
Thanks for the info and thanks for watching.
I've got one ,but am still interested in the ratcheting t-handle. How can we get to find out how to trade or see what we can do .
The only way I see it is Trust. I'll send you the Ratchet and you send me whatever you are sending. Give me your e mail and I'll send my address. You can find mine on the channel.
$30! Jealous. I saw a lot of cool stuff. What kind of maniac does not buy a cow bell when opportunity knocks.
I know, you never know when you may need to call some cows.
They re all useful tools
Thanks for watching, most are useful. Its like Christmas going through them.
The round doue box end is likemy one of the following brands. P&C (Proto family) Hinsdale, or Blue Poinr (Snap-on) budget line.
Thanks, I was kinda leaning toward the Proto, because of the number. But couldn't confirm it. Thanks for stopping by.
All three brands I mentioned would usually be stamped on the wrench too.
If you shoot me your address I’ll send you a tripod. These hand held videos make me nauseous.

Sounds like a nice find. My nick name when I worked for Eastern Airlines was Slim Pickens.
That’s cool what a coincidence that I mentioned that in my comment
