- You're going to wish you'd known about tip two earlier in your caregiving journey! As caregivers for our families with dementia, we've learned that ensuring home safety is crucial and ever-changing. In this episode, we'll share strategies for managing safety both inside the home. We are Nancy Treaster and Sue Ryan, and through our experiences caring for family members with dementia, we've developed three main tips to help you keep your loved one safe while giving you peace of mind.

I took care my mom with Alzheimer for 6 years.Thanks God she was healty,very heathy No Itis,only forget every thing, she didn't recognize me.She didn't fall because she forgot to walk, we have a lifter to lift her from bed to the wheelchair, feed her like a baby and gave her showers 2 times a week the other days I clean her on the bed with wet wipes,it was sad but I give thanks to God I was near her every day,we took turns with my sister until she was gone ❤❤❤😢😢
