    Hi Tharbamar, ever since you posted this video I kept coming back for a listen. Could not take it anymore so today I ordered a pair of R-41M's, $114 new, from Adorama. Once I get them in they will placed into service on a Rotel A14 integrated amp and Yamaha CD-S300.
    This comment is a follow-up after purchase. I am having lots of FUN with 2ch HT and 2 ch music using this R-41M! This year I purchased the following speakers: PSB Alpha P3 ($219/pr), Boston Acoustics A-25 ($134/pr), Wharfedale D320 ($199/pr) and the Klipsch R-41M. Of these 4 the Klipsch are the most engaging listen. Of these 4, I would only buy the BA A-25 and Klipsch R-41M's again.
    Over the weekend I visited a local audio retailer and discovered the Klipsch RP 5000 floor standing speaker. Doing some research afterward I noticed that Klipsch makes an RP-4000 floor stander which really has peaked my interest in them. Any chance of a review of the RP 4000F?

      You will be very happy with these on a desk, but you will want a subwoofer as Tharb says. I use the older version of these (R-14M) with an inexpensive Pioneer SW8MK2 subwoofer. Powered with NAD D 3020. It's a great setup, been using it for a couple years now. I can only imagine these R41M are better with that new horn design.

    I use a pair of these as my Rear Height channel in a 5.1.4 system in a medium sized room. I cut the crossover on these at 100hz...With Dirac room correction, these speakers do the job very well in my application. Overall, I'm happy with the performance.

      @donlew8222 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrisssruiz334 I just bought the RZ50 a few months back. The manual says that it is pushing 120 watts per channel. Though I only listen to maybe 20 or so watts even in THX mode while watching movies. Keep in mind, that there are much better speakers out there. However, in a Atmos setup, these speakers do the job very well when the content is available. Most of the time, I don't even hear them. But in All Channel Sterio for music, they also seem to perform well. But they do lack bottom end performance. So I let the sub and other speakers do the low end work.

    I agree with others that this is a great review; I have owned these speakers for about six months now (got them @ Costco for $80+) and was pleasantly surprised by the lower midrange/upper bass punch that I don't get on any of my other speakers. But after listening more carefully and seeing a frequency response chart posted by another reviewer, I felt that higher frequency problem that you so gracefully described was more than I could handle for the long run so I demoted this pair to my garage system where the acoustics are more muted. I upgraded them, incidentally, to some JBL 530's that I got for $250; well worth it. Also, thanks for the advice on where to set the crossover if I decide to ad a sub.

      @@AmbientAnalogue theyre awesome bro, highly recommend. Their built really well and sound awesome. They're also incredibly beautiful and go so well with my desk setup. Get them from Costco. Good price and good warranty. However, the bass is a little bit weak by default so you'll need to dsp them for best performance. They can produce bass, but have been built to keep it subdued by default. If you plan on using your phone or something, the pioneer sb 22 might be a better speaker since they have better bass off the shelf. These klipschs have better treble though. It's airy and sweet bc of the tractrix horn. If you find the pioneers for less or don't care about warranty, def get those instead. Lemme know if you have other questions. Hope this helps bro. I had RB 15's before. these blow those away in terms of sound. no contest.

      Go for the Klipsch RP-160M if you have space, seriously! I have both the R-41M and the RP-160M. I know there's a big difference in size between these two, but you can get lots of discounts on RP-160M's these days. You can also go for the RP-150M if you want the same size as R-51M.
      Here's the thing: the reference premiere series is like another brand compared to the reference series. You may read lots of critics about Klipsch speakers lacking depth, this pretty much doesn't apply to the RP series. Much more depth, A LOT better mids and lows. If you go for the RP-160M, you don't really need a sub unless you want really high bass.

Until I bought vintage large bookshelf speaker MB-Quart QL-502s, first hear it, I stunned, great dynamics, bass, treble, mids, just wow, that Klipsch bookshelf speaker more like a toy now. And now, I prefer a larger speaker, It's a shame that now all new bookshelf speaker is getting smaller and smaller.
