I like the fact that it doesn’t needca battery. Only the plug for when in use, i had a forhelp monitor but it didn’t last long cause of the battery life lasting only 4 1/2 hours.
Those who bought this monitor, did you made any fine tuning? I guess the default settings looks too washed for me. My default is brightness 0, black level 20, contrast 60 and color temo warm. What do you think about these settings?
Are you still using this monitor? What settings did you go with? I just got the 16.1" 1080p version, but the colours look very washed out compared to my other monitors.
I have this monitor. It has been a perfect 2nd monitor for desktop use. I like to use it to display HWInfo when gaming. OR when I want to have a guide open. The colors are really good and it gets plenty bright. It's not the best for console use at it does stretch the image. The Arzopa G1 works better for that use case. I use a Cable Matters Displayport to USB-C cable as it has to be bi-directional.
This monitor sells for about $145 at Amazon. Under a different make it sells less than half the price for $70 at Walmart: AZMIOR Portable Monitor 16" 2K Gaming Monitor For USB C QHD Screen 400Nit Display 120Hz. How well has this held up? I'm not familiar with UPerfect. Also, how would 720p/1080p 60hz look on this? I'm interested in purchasing a portable monitor for my Xbox 360/PS3.
How is the motion response? Is there a lot of blur? Is the input lag also commendable? I'd like a number on the response time. They say it's 9 ms black to white.
I purchased this monitor in the last week off Amazon, but I'm not certain I got the correct model. When I use it with my macbook pro via usb-c, I'm seeing the option for 120hz and 144hz. I cannot find anywhere in the product listing about it supporting 144hz, and it hasn't been mentioned in any other comments. As far as I can tell, there is no way to verify the model of the product. There is no model number on the device itself or within the OSD. Personally, I'm liking whatever monitor I actually got. With my macbook pro, I'm able to display 1600p@144hz and power the monitor with full brightness using a single cable. At 60hz or 120hz, I'm also able to enable HDR. Personally, I don't think it's bright enough for HDR, or you may just need a really dark room. I'm curious what the difference is between the game modes (Standard, FPS, and RTS). FPS and RTS seem to increase the brightness.

The listing on Amazon is wrong. This is common with tech listing specifications on Amazon. Check some of the reviews, people think it’s 16:9 and don’t like finding out it’s 16:10 when they get it.
@@1UpNerdcore I bought this a few days ago before coming across your review, and it's definitely a 16:9 monitor. Question , would an oled ,like the innocn 13.3 1080p , look and perform better than this? I don’t know if I should get the uperfect 18in 144hz or the oled , please help 🙏
Well I would say it depends, FHD/1080p is going to look okay on most devices but when it comes to 2k 120hz on 16 inches it shows a step up in clarity because you are getting more pixels giving a more crispier image. So you would most likely see a difference if you compared the two even on a small screen.
I connected this monitor to my MacBook Air and set the sound to come from the monitor but when ever I play any type of media the audio is sped up drastically. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so have you found a fix, thank you in advance!
Think I’m gonna go with the 18 inch version of this I travel for work and would like to bring my PS5 with me. That 16 x 10 aspect ratio is going to give me black bars I think so I’d rather have the bigger screen.
It needs a power source unless the device specifically can give enough power out and has the ports to do so. For instance a monitor with two usb type c ports where one could deliver power and another could do video. Or a desktop that could power it. Most likely rare they have that setup for either of those though.
@@1UpNerdcore Sorry, I'm still a bit confused. There's two things I'd like to check here: 1. It uses Thunderbolt/USB4 Alt Mode for the display signal, but the single USB cable isn't enough to power the monitor. Does the additional power cable need to support PD? If so, what is the minimum power required? 2. If it needs to be plugged in for power, can it not power the source device via PD? If not, this is a big limitation, because the source device probably can't be charged whilst its USB C port is being used for the display signal.

The usb type c to an adapter is the power source. As long as there’s adequate power it should be fine. Plugging the type c into something else that can power devices like a monitor with such capabilities should do just fine also as long as it’s adequate power.
