You will definitely like Metalizm. I also have every Babymetal song on my playlists, none skipped, only Band Maid and Mamamoo are in that category for me. I am a long time Prince fan, ariana grande, namie amuro, Garbage all have skippable songs but not those 3 groups. Everything is awesome. I did get to see babymetal live years ago when they were fronting for lady gaga, they were this good even back then when they were 14 or so.

I didn't really appreciate Shanti until I got see it live recently during the Australian tour, and it really changed how I feel about the song, as often tends to be the case about the songs I'm not as into. Yava! on the other hand, is my favourite BM song ever, but I've yet to see it performed live.

Yeah, I didn't realize how good Shanti x 3 was until I saw fan cams of live shows. I have the Metal Galaxy Blu Ray shows, but a lot of the choreo is lost when they are showing the kaleidoscope screens and zoomed far away from them. Before I saw the full choreo I just thought it was alright, after seeing all the choreo, I love it.

At one point during Shanti Shanti Shanti you said it sounded kind of Gaelic, have you by chance seen Oh majinai? Though part of the dance looks like Russian causaks, it reminds me of an Irish jig, and featured the lead singer of Sabiton, jaukin Broaden

GJ on the reaction. Yava is a personal favorite of mine. Especially with this intro. kamiband rips it. While the song is about choices. And some have said it's about when Babymetal first started, and folks had such a hard time telling the difference between Yui and Moa. The lyrica talk about trying to decide between things and how some will say there is no difference and just pick one. While other say if you look a little closer you will see there is a difference. That can apply to so many things in life. Which is one of the reasons I like it so much. The choreography for this song is really fun too. Since you've learned so much about them already it's ok you are doing a compilation video. For someone just starting their Babymetal journey I would never recommend this. Too many questions and confusion would come from it.
Shanti Shanti Shanti Su really gets to show of her vocal skills. Many have said singing those scales used in this song are very difficult folks who didn't grow up listening to it. Su nails it. Singing a mix of genres isn't easy. Gotta have the skills to do that. Of course, Moa's part is as kawaii as can be. Moa said she worked on her dancing skills for this tour and it's choreography like this that really show off what she did. One of the things that show how much Moa grew as an artist during this time is while she mentioned dancing. She does even more singing on this album than previously. I want to hear them so this with Momo singing with Moa. Seems like Moa has become a great mentor as well. Leading the avenger dancers while on tour. Especially teaching them to keep to the choreography while Moa is being Moa. The kaleidoscope thing for many is too much or went overboard with it. But if the edit is right it comes off as just right. Especially since it's them in the kaleidoscope. And true Babymetals stage designer should have awards and praise for the jobs they've done over the years. Stagehands too. I've seen them runout there fearlessly to clear stuff from the stage while they're performing. And I've seen them low key clear stuff themselves. Typical for a metal show. Lol See You.

YAVA! (actually Yabai!) means like "oh no!" or when describing something dangerous or surprising.
They're fusing ska genre and metal in a way no one did before, the charming of our girls is unmatchable.
The Kami Band intro in this one is super fun, Mikio Fujioka-sama doing some magic here. (R.I.P.)
This was live compilation with footage of Five Fox Festival 2017 and mixing up with Big Fox Festival 2017, that was the last live performance for YuiMetal, sad moment everytime I remember this.
The Kami Band doing a different intro unlike the rest but still being impressive and fits totally with the song and the ska rhythm.
"Chigau" in the lyrics is the temporary title fans gave to this song when live premiere without knowing the song, the word means "different" and totally fits with the meaning of the song, this could be a song talking about them, you know the surprise factor of being different.
Kitsune up and see you next time.🦊🤘 🔥

They brought back SSS (Shanti x3) at recent live concerts in Asia and Australia, and was one of the regular songs in their setlist, i think is cool because is one of the songs is usually favorite among the female fans.
This journey to Metal Galaxy on their 3rd album from 2019 got a lot of songs picking up rhythms from all over the world and combine with the unique sound of BM, is not in the same album along with METALIZM, that song belongs to latest.
SSS got a clear Indian influence and elements, others songs got folk metal or latin rhythms, or Thai rap, so this journey is wild. They got another song with a title referred to mythology called "MAYA" but the sound is nothing like this.
The third backup dancer or _avenger_ is Kano Fujihira, just remember none of them got official name revealed and aren't official members, but that status changed recently with MomoMetal.
MoaMetal talked about this saying it was one of the hardest choreo to match up and get in sync with every one of the avenger, especially at Legend Metal Galaxy when all the avengers switch up in the same show (also taking it a break) while Moa performing the full set.
But it was a great experience for her, YuiMetal was also known as the "angel of dance" and she was the most technical among them, Moa took this challenge after she left and focus on this dance aspect learning a lot from the experience with the avengers and backup dancers before them.
      Next suggestion:
      - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM. You can find this clip with watermarked logo probably safe to react at NLMetal.
      See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

I got into Babymetal thru the Kami Band, used to go to their club gigs. Always happy when they're featured. Speaking of Band-Maid, I would see Kanami and Akane at the gigs of KB's Mikio Fujioka, talked to them a few times. When Fujioka died they both wrote warm trubutes to him. They and Midori of Lovebites among many other musicians attended a service for him.

Mikio was a master of harmonics and whammy. Ohmura is master of harmonics and sparkly pink guitar. Mikio was Takayoshi Ohmura's tutor at Musicians Academy Japan, then friend and bandmate in the Kamis. Ohmura still plays one of Mikio's guitars in some songs at most BABYMETAL shows. Both amazing players.

Yava and (especially) Shanti Shanti Shanti are criminally underrated. They have such unique styles. I love the ska vibe to Yava, and the Indian sound of Shanti is amazing. The choreography is also very special and memorable for both of them. Shanti Shanti Shanti especially has been praised by Indian people on TH-cam for how good and precise the dancing and singing is. I am more partial to the live version because it does a better job of showcasing Su's amazing live vocals and their beautiful dancing (I also think the editor overdid it with the kaleidoscopes). The effort and respect they put into it is amazing. Please check it out if you get the time!

    YAVA BY BABYMETAL:-
I love this song because I love the SKA genre. YAVA fuses SKA and Metal. Very underrated song cos, not many reactors react to this because of copyright issue. Some in the Metal community didn't even knew that the SKA genre existed unless you listen to Sublime, Pepper, No Doubt and other bands that play the SKA genre. The Kami Band is brilliant and brutal. Yuimetal aka Yui Mizuno last performance was at "Big Fox Festival in Japan at Osaka-Jo hall" on 15th Oct. 2017.
Enjoy your reaction. Thanks for reacting to this. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬#notacult.
    YAVA!
YAVA! is a song from BABYMETAL's second original album, METAL RESISTANCE.
    Information:-
    •Artist: BABYMETAL
    •Album: BABYMETAL
    •Lyrics: NAKAMETAL, Mk-metal, Kxbxmetal
    •Composition: Norimetal
    •Arrangement: Yuppemetal
This tune was performed for the first time on 2015 Jun. 21st at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Since then, it was tentatively called "Chigau". The Japanese title is "ヤバッ!" (= yaba!) and this word is sometimes jokingly written as "ヤヴァッ!" (= yava!).
The meaning of the lyrics is vague, obscure & ambiguous. This is the same old way of Japanese popular songs. If the singers are attractive enough, the fans can freely enjoy whatever fantasies they like with such vague lyrics. I don't think there is the true story and the lyric writer has hidden it, so I hope the listeners think freely what differs how from what.
This is some of my favourite SKA BAND:-
    1. Reel Big Fish - Sell Out (1996)
    2. Mighty Mighty Bosstone - The Impression That I Get (1997)
    3. Suicide Machines - Skankin' Pickle - Song #3 (1997)
    4. Kemuri (Japanese Ska Band) - Positive Mental Attitude (P.M.A) (1998)
    5. The Pietasters - Out All Night (1997)
    6. Spring Heeled Jack - Jolene (1998)
    7. Slapstick - Eighteen (1997)
    8. Rancid - Time Bomb (1995)
    9. Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra from Japan - Skaravan.
This are from the 90s mainly because I was born in the 70s.

    Shanti Shanti Shanti:-
Best of both world 🌎. Fusion of J Pop, Metal and Indian Bollywood style of music. "Shanti" means Peace ✌️ in Sanskrit.
Sometimes, 'Om' is said once and Shanti is repeated thrice after that. Shanti is repeated thrice since it is chanted for peace in the body, mind and spirit. ... Hence Shanti mantra usually prays for the peace of all beings in the universe.

"YAVA!" is a crazy mix of ska and metal and it perfectly works for me for some reason. Definitely one of my favorites. "YAVA!" or "YABA" or "yabai" means "dangerous" but this time it can be translated to the expression "Oh, no!". The song is apparently about being, looking and acting different in a society where acting outside the box is seen as weird (in a bad way).
"Shanti Shanti Shanti" is one of their folk songs, Indian flavor this time. Indian reactors pointed out how accurate the vocals and the choreo are (including the hand movements which are very important as you mentioned).

Shanti Shanti Shanti has so much detail put into it. The tenor backing vocal. The Indian instruments in the backing. The choreography. And the star of the piece (IMO), Su-'s vocal styling.

"Shanti Shanti Shanti" is one of my favorite Babymetal songs. I've always liked Indian music and infusing it with metal always piques my interest. Nemophila did something similar with "Hypnosis" and that is one of my favorite songs of theirs.

Yava at Osaka during the Fox Festivals 2017 was the last time the East Kamis were allowed to do a Solo intro. During the 2 shows in Hiroshima - Baptism XX December 2017 (First shows without Yui - MIA and the Last with Mikio - RIP) the solos were gone. There were a couple of intros done by the West Kamis for the song Kagerou in 2019, but it was more like a weak consolation prize.

If you want to hear some other Metal with Indian, Bloodywood exists, they are also great

nice reaction again! Babymetal is made for "out-of-the-box"!
if i may suggest (maybe a reaction to two versions of one song in a row?) "Babymetal - Headbanger (OFFICIAL)" (not sure if you already saw that) and the other version of this song is "'Headbanger Night of 15 mix".
since you said you like the variety in there songs you'll probably like this a lot :)
the song is from their first album and the "Night of 15" version was played at some concerts in japan as an opening i guess. if you search for "Night of 15" there is a 9:xx and a 4:xx long version. the long one is with a classical part (Ave Maria) before the headbanger version. the short one starts immediately with headbanger.
i really would enjoy watching your reaction to that, since i was blown away after watching BM for years now, this mix-version never crossed my way until recently. man was i surprised :)

Another great choice - double choice! But it is hard to find anything they've made that isn't great. The consistency of all Japanese bands is incredible - practice is clearly a big ethic there and it pays off every time. Babymetal's hand movements. body shapes, dance moves and all their choregraphy, is an interpretation of the lyrics directly or what the lyrics explain.

It’s a pity that you reacted to a compilation video of "Yava!" However, it would appear that there are no single concert live versions available on TH-cam. A real shame because It's a good song and the choreo was fantastic. "Shanti Shanti Shanti" is one of my favs, and the song "Metalizm" from their latest album ("The Other One") is like "Shanti Shanti Shanti 2.0".
