$200 is a pretty good price for a Gretsch, but also at Adorama, for $260, you can get the G5220 Electromatic Jet BT in Firestick Red. I bought the same guitar in Bristol Fog for $20 more at $280. Joe has a video about it, and the link in the description still works.
I bought one through Adorama after watching your video on it earlier this year. Great deal, and a fun way to get back into guitars. But now I have to stop myself from dropping money on that Grote Tele… I took an emery board to the nut on the high E side because it was sharp against my skin and had to raise the bridge pickup, but everything else is great.
I bought this guitar a couple of years ago. It was alright but not great. The tuners were mediocre and the guitar was very difficult to intonate fully. The tone was good but never seemed fully in tune up the fret board. I ultimately returned it.
Looks like they can't seem to sell this model for some reason. Adorama has an eBay store, sometimes you can find a nice open box deal. There's a fender amp for a nice price there right now.
@@AJgeartalk whats up AJ, i think in the amazon listing of the adorama gretsch, there has been people complaining with defects such as lifted bridges and warped necks. Was gonna get myself one a couple weeks ago but didnt pull the trigger because of the comments.

I tried it in a store and it seemed fine. The neck is kind of large-ish and the fret access is not for shredding. It's a great way to get a p90.
Yes-Gretsch aren't for shredders.

If the Sahara color was on deal I'd be on it like hair on a bear.
cool beans
Hi Joe, where's the best place to sell my used guitars? Thx.
I sell on Ebay, Reverb and my local Craigslist. You can also check Sweetwater Gear Exchange.
Mine had a lifted bridge
Hopefully- you returned it?

@@joshuaprado1 The one I bought was perfect. I would be careful if there are a lot of complaints.
