If cuba Gooding jnr is in a film, it's going to be a very good one, he's a very overlooked, but should have got an Oscar playing in Men of Honour/Honor , just my opinion. I welcome your comments too
@maryM Cubing jr is one of my favorites, because he CAN act. he can play different rolls. Be funny or serious. Weird or professional. he's very versatile. and totally agree he is overlooked. But hopefully that is because he refuses to be bought and controlled by the elite evil people.
Cuba gooding doesn't make a bad movie is why I tried it out. first assuming it was another miss titled click bait. turns out Mr gooding didn't disappoint me good movie suspenseful and different from most of today's plots.
Good movie. I’ve often read books on real life murder cases where innocent people are imprisoned for crimes they didn’t commit. It’s terrifying to think that people arrested & imprisoned for murder might actually have happened, or will happen. I can honestly say that sitting for jury duty in a violent crime case takes more guts than I possess, I have respect for jury members (obviously the untainted ones) who can decide whether a person is guilty of such heinous crimes. Same goes for the judge, I cannot fathom how they can render life altering sentences & how awful it would be to learn you may have sent an innocent person to life imprisonment.
@@MichaelWinter-ss6lx I’m sorry you had to endure that! Our criminal justice system is hell bent on keeping innocent people imprisoned because they don’t want to admit they arrested, charged & imprisoned the wrong person. If anything, they seem to double down on their actions.

I knew from the first half of the movie that there should have been a rational, material solution, but that something supernatural were actually going to be found being for real, in the end of the day . . . Underrated movie far better than many pumped up bs that had more success just because they had a higher production budget or a wider range of advertising.
Yep! I'd say it's a supernatural crime thriller, rather than a horror or psychological thriller. It was definitely a great vehicle for the female protagonist. A solid story and film executed with mainstream ambitions. Only thing is billing make one think that Cuba and Tichina play more prominent roles. They play minor roles. I enjoyed the movie teetering between crime and supernatural thriller.
Cuba Gooding Jnr is one of the best actors just seeing him in a movie is a watch and one knows it's the good film to watch. Great film didn't want him to live though.

@@sranney1I think most of us have been desensitized to quite a lot of Hollywood and real life global horrors for quite awhile now.... doesn't seem to rile people up half as much as it should, we've been programmed to accept horror as normal daily fare... in my humble opinion.
