Really Epic! I was totally fooled by the 12 minute short... I was sure that it was Charlie Cox playing his blind man technique. Totally has the Matt Murdock - Daredevil feel... the action scenes were great, pros, obviously... Eric did a fantastic job, I was going to rewatch the 12 minute short, when I came across the 45 minute version. AWESOME FUN!! THANKS
It was an understated and truly impressive film. The acting is very realistic, far from artificial. It impressed me from start to finish and left a pleasant smile on my face at the end. Thanks.
Well Done Boys! Outtakes were classic. Good writing,Matt Murdock undertones. Fight scenes top shelf. Thoroughly enjoyed the short. Part Deux on the way???
Came across the name of this film from a comment in a youtube short, this was a great film and hope it gets a part 2 or an even longer version, im a fan of daredevil and this being similar made it even better, loved the guy playing the main part as well, did an excellent job
The resemblance to Charlie's Daredevil is striking. I could have EASILY seen this as a misplaced backstory or a side arc from the daredevil series. It's not the same actor but everything about the appearance and the mannerisms... Even the jokes and the attitude are similar.
I'd say another prime influence would be the 1989 film Blind Fury starring Rutger Hauer, Shō Kosugi and Randall Craig "Tex" Cobb (although that was in turn influenced by Zatōichi too).
This is awesome the main character Walter reminded me Matt Murdock aka daredevil. There was a few of those daredevil vibes here. Amazing work here, great short.
Jamyang nice to see you here, I spent up all night refreshing this page to be among the first to view it, was sooooo fucking worth it, what'd you think ?
It developed the character in more interesting ways. The whole scene where he shuffles through a box to find his cane sword while showing a photo of (presumably) his wife and daughter was some good subtle storytelling. I found the action in the first 12 minutes of the original short to be more entertaining than the remainder of this expanded film though.
OMFG I was thinking the same thing bro, the action in the first short was more impressive, not to undermine the excellent work of Luke LaFontaine cause that sword vs knives fight with Ace was still brilliant with some very intricate choreography but the way it ended was kinda underwhelming, true to character and tone, but still anti-climactic, tho the writing and characterization and the visual storytelling was even better in "The Game" and Jacobus still stands as one of the leading action stars/directors out there, if this got turned into a feature film, with an almost 50/50 balance of action and story of this exact quality, it'd be absolutely amazing.
The fight with Ace was pretty good. The ending was so unexpected lol I would like to see more creative fight choreography like in the original short though.
*SPOILERS* First off, I wanna say that I enjoyed this film from start to finish. It was a good production, with great action sequences. My only real gripe with this was the ending: Sure, Walter went in and kicked ass, but he ultimately accomplished nothing. Gordon still owes Sal money, and Sal made it pretty clear that he intends to collect sooner or later. And after this, it's VERY likely that the only thing that Gordon could give him that would be considered acceptable now is his life. Walter and Gordon walked away with their heads held up high, but this isn't over. All they were shown to do is pretty much just paint targets on their heads. Are we really supposed to believe that they AREN'T gonna have to watch their backs everywhere they go? There is far too much left undone for this story to end here. With that said, are there any plans for a sequel?
Blindsided: The Game begins with the original 12-minute Blindsided short. Be sure to keep watching, as the short has expanded to 45 minutes!
I see. It's Zatōichi, pulling off a Matt Murdock look.
so gooooood!!!!!!! great job seriously can't wait to see the next short film

Such an amazing film. I love it. The fight scenes are INSANE!
Well Done Boys!
Outtakes were classic.
Good writing,Matt Murdock undertones. Fight scenes top shelf. Thoroughly enjoyed the short.
Part Deux on the way???
Can you please tell me the end song?
It's amazing! They should make a full movie or a TV show
This guy needs to be in a action movies asap
Really good film. Better than 90% of the Hollywood garbage out these days. Thank you.
Such power of sense leaves me stunned. From a blind Guy!
Loved it. I hope you're planning on making another more because this is basically a third act away from being a feature film now.
That was something never expected this was a good film, is there episode 2 on this? Thanks so much.
It's a clip on Daredevil series.
He is like Equalizer densil Washington, helping others.
With the skill of jack reacher
Came across the name of this film from a comment in a youtube short, this was a great film and hope it gets a part 2 or an even longer version, im a fan of daredevil and this being similar made it even better, loved the guy playing the main part as well, did an excellent job
The resemblance to Charlie's Daredevil is striking. I could have EASILY seen this as a misplaced backstory or a side arc from the daredevil series. It's not the same actor but everything about the appearance and the mannerisms... Even the jokes and the attitude are similar.
I see. It's Zatōichi, pulling off a Matt Murdock look.
I'm glad I found this comment. =)
So glad you said what I was thinking...lol...great project...
I'd say another prime influence would be the 1989 film Blind Fury starring Rutger Hauer, Shō Kosugi and Randall Craig "Tex" Cobb (although that was in turn influenced by Zatōichi too).
All he needs is a dark red full-body suit to complete the look. LOL
É bom ver que tem legendas em PT-BR! Ótimo trabalho Eric, Keep It Up!
SickKid Sempre que possível as farei. 😉
Jacobus you're amazing!
This is awesome the main character Walter reminded me Matt Murdock aka daredevil. There was a few of those daredevil vibes here. Amazing work here, great short.
It was awesome. just glued into a short film . A blind Gordon is lethal and what if he could see!!!!
I have a feeling that this might be expanded to a full feature length film by next year?
Jamyang nice to see you here, I spent up all night refreshing this page to be among the first to view it, was sooooo fucking worth it, what'd you think ?
Jamyang Pelsang probably.
The scream as the guy fell off the roof had me in tears 😂
Hahhaha
😂😂😂 the comment I was looking for😂😂
This man is such an inspiration he did Daredevil better than the Netflix series even before they could do it
Ok not sure about that one
this has been out 5 years now and i just found it its an amazing piece !! great work this made my Movie Night thank you for all of it
Eric Jacobus is Sharp-Quick & Amazing!!!
*SPOILERS*
First off, I wanna say that I enjoyed this film from start to finish.
Man I wanna see another haha I love how Walter's character is played and this is just amazing, 10/10 would recommend
I love this.. it's like the streetwise version of both DAREDEVIL, ZATŌCHI, and BLIND FURY.
Outstanding Eric!!!! I would watch more of this character, keep up the great work😎😎😎
