I felt so sorry for the wonderful Investigator who saved her life. Yes, it was a happy ending for the family...But the investigator in the comments section deserved to be acknowledged for his courage. Strong men are being left behind in our society...I miss them...Thanks for the great movie.

I never knew most people lived in mansions. Every one of these movies shows the main characters living in huge homes always soaking in a pool size bathtub surrounded by candles and drinking wine. I would really like to watch a realistic movie with people living in pretty but modest homes and lifestyles just like real life.

What a great movie! It had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on! The actors were all so good. Especially the women who played the role of Allison 😢.

Finally! A mystery thriller with no cursing or bad language. I stopped watching them due to that. Took a chance on this one. Great!

Alison was so silly to challenge him. When the doctor told her about the pills, she should have gotten out of there and allowed the police and health authority to investigate, but then there would be no moooooovie ...........

Try watching an English film called Element of Doubt. It is about a woman who thinks her hubby is up to no good, but leaves it too late to get out, and he kills her. If only she got out at the beginning ....

I am currently wading my way through 'The New Detectives' programme series, and each episode has 3 cases, and most are of spouse killers. Almost every one I have seen has a husband or wife killer in it. Most are not killed by strangers.

I wish there was like 10 more minutes at the end where we see her speaking to her real husband and sharing her experience... if this happened in real life, that woman would have many years of recovery, therapy etc... This is not an easy thing to deal with.

Great movie! So many of these have terrible actors, but this movie’s actors/actresses were great! I loved the storyline, there was action, suspense, and a wonderful ending. 👍🏻

The plot/storyline of "Before I Go to Sleep" (featuring Nicole Kidman, Mark Strong, and Colin Firth; released in 2014) draws some parallels (to say the least) with this film!
Love the fact that the detective turned out to be a straight up Guy!!

That female doctor would have contacted the police anyway. No one would have listened to someone that has been drugged.

This it isn’t as out in left field as some of you might think. Also depending on where you live the predator might be known to law enforcement! They might even be drinking pals! That means law enforcement will believe the predator!!!!!!

The bad doctor's big mistake was when he gave a cheque to the private investigator.That left an information trail.Fortunately the private investigator wasn't corrupt.Although that was ultimately that got him killed.He should have let the FBI do their job once he had the important evidence.He knew he was dealing with a dangerous man.I hardly see cheques these days.The movie was made in 2006 so probably more cheques then.

A very good movie! I have a medical background and enjoyed the sinister twists and turns with the doctor husband playing God. Unfortunately, there are a lot of men with egos like that. I really enjoyed the ending...

damsel in distress....they ignore numerous red flags...someone else always dies trying to help them and when they do realize they need to get away they still take the time to pack a bag before leaving.

I was into 28 min. Of this movie and found it amazing how she is on medium for a heart condition and pain medication from the car accident but no thought is given to each scene drinking glasses of alcohol. Disturbing. I'm not finishing this movie. I know it's aa movie but we are not fools

The original story is from the book " Before I go to Sleep". The movie based on the novel under the same title has very famous cast like Colin Firth. there is a foul play here. Easy to check the internet and imdb .

Yes, and I learned the hard way.... head over heels into the large beach rocks after attempting to ride my older sister's bike for a short while down the large hill on the way home from school at six years old; I certainly caused my parents grief.

Hello, do you know any other movies without gore or satan but suspenseful like this?
The movie never explained what happened to the baby she was pregnant with when he kidnapped her. They never explained how it was determined that the doctor and the patient Anna were in the vehicle together when they supposedly died in a vehicle fire, whose bodies were found and who determined they belonged to Anna and the doctor. They never said how long Allison was living this second life. If her real husband really thought she died in a vehicle fire, he may have been remarried. With his secluded ranch, all the woods, he could have built a hidden structure for his lab , but he rents and works out of a storage room. They never talked about a care taker. Someone was taking care of the horses when they weren’t there.

All the pieces were scrambled and out of context just like the spilled milk as her mind was trying to remember. Everything was out of sequence. Nothing needs to be explained.
