I love! this block. My dear mother loved butterflies. Lori, thank you for making such wonderful blocks and tutorials, but most of all, taking your time and sharing your loveliness with us. And thank you for filming, Cassidy.
I just got your bee vintage layer cake and the BEE VINTAGE sew simple shapes. Cannot wait to get inspired and sew with you. I am a single mom and new quilter and my grandma was going to teach me but passed a few years ago. I inherited her machine and supplies and between you and Kimberly Jolly have learned so much and been so inspired. I am about to finish my first quilt top for my daughter’s 15th birthday and may attempt to quilt it myself but might send it in. However, I cannot thank you enough for all you do with your tutorials and detailed videos on how to piece blocks together accurately. I work 3 jobs, 1 full time and 2 part time and have found quilting to be the most relaxing creative outlet and wish I could have started many years ago.
Good Morning Lori, I love how you teach with a different mindset to make the job quick and easy❣️. I hope this old brain can think of these tips when I am actually sewing. 🤣 I hope you have a wonderful weekend, 🥰 Chris
Thank you Lori. I absolutely love when my twin granddaughters are over. They turned a year old last month. I will have to make them a butterfly quilt, so precious. Love your quality fabrics.
I love the darker background against those beautiful little 5” blocks,❣️ Lori. And thank you for pulling your quilt over so my old eyes got a better look at that gorgeous quilt❣️👍🥰Chris
Lori , I love all your quilt stashes and the beautiful dishes, trays, boxes etc you keep them in. Butterflies are one of my favorites!❤❤❤ BEAUTIFUL QUILT!💗💗💗💗
Thank u for the tutorial very helpful. I have the book and enjoy adding notes as u go. Thanks for the measurements for the 10" block , adding to my notes.
I love it! It is such a perfect block for Spring. But I just want to say how much I love the darker background in the scrap quilts, and never thought about doing that until now. Soon I will start diving into your method of scrapiness and see if that helps me a little better! Happy quilting!
Love your butterflies! ABSOLUTELY enjoyed doing your pumpkin seed package block. Your fabric is GREAT to work with, so soft. Instructions were so easy to follow. EVERYTHING well planned. Thank you.
Lori, I love these cute butterflies so much! Yes, they are perfect timing in hopes for spring. It’s still cold and snowing here in MN so a little butterfly happiness is just the ticket. I love the raisin background. 😊
I just found your channel. I am amazed at all you get done! I also do many different crafts, (add paper crafting to your list) but the fact that you design and publish books along with all you accomplish is inspiring. I just subscribed because I want to watch all your videos and see what you do in a day!
I love to watch your videos. I'm an experienced quilter and still learn a lot. I just ordered Scrappiness is Happiness. I'm currently working on an altered version of Farmhouse Star. I'm using my stash of homespuns. It's so cool, if I do say so myself.
Thanks for the tip to use glue on the small pieces. Oh by the way, I'm using your Stitch collection for both of my Scrappiness is Happiness and Sew Scrappy Spools quilts, and the same pretty colorful Multi Stitch Coral for backing that you have on your Butterfly quilt. Love it! 😊
I'm working on a small wall hanging. I made your cottage today (12 1/2 inch square). I hope to add a flower sun and a butterfly; maybe a split tail fence,... living the new book (s) of yours. I won't need to buy anymore books! Wink!
Lori, I bought your seam guide sometime ago but I didn’t immediately put it on my machine. I don’t know why. Recently I also bought that seam tape; but I have a tremor and I could NOT get the tape straight. Then I remembered your seam guide. I pulled it out and put it on and I haven’t looked back! It’s wonderful! Everything about my stitching is smoother and more accurate! The only problem I’m having is that it moves a bit. I used the little gummies to stick it down but they don’t seem to be strong enough. What should I use to stick it down well enough to be more stable? I’m really sorry I took so long to “install” it and use it. It is really great!! Thank you for creating it!
