    This is basically exactly what I wanted to do, so thank you! I had a question though, what would be the sound difference between a brass, aluminum, and polycarbonate plate? And which did you use?

      Awesome! I went straight to the polycarbonate plate. This was my first poly plate, experience and overall I really like it! Definitely more hollow sounding but in a good way. I really enjoy how it feels over my Tofu build w/ brass plate and the alu plate from my NK65 Entry. I just had Salmons in this not too long ago, and just swapped those out for Durock linears that I lubed a while ago. Overall, definitely one of my favorite boards that I own, right up there with my Rama Works Kara in terms of feel and sound. I don't have anything high-end to compare it to but in a vacuum having only owned a few 'entry' level boards, it's great!

      I guess it really depends on if you want tactile or something linear. I find anything tactile (like the Penguins) is very distracting while gaming, but I love them for productivity and typing a bunch. I'm sure Aquas and a poly plate would look absolutely amazing.

    Is lubing stabilizers the most intimate thing you can do with your keyboard?

      @FunkyHQYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lubing stabs and switches prepares you for the most sensual part of any custom keyboard experience... finger--I mean typing.

      @@FunkyHQYT would u recommend Carbon Lube more Or Krytox 205g0???

    • @FunkyHQYT
      @FunkyHQYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both are great and depends on the type of switch! If you're lubing linears, I'd go with Krytox 205 G0. If you're lubing tactiles, go with Carbon GS2, or even something thinner.

      @@FunkyHQYT so for the penguins Carbon GS2 is better cut lots of ppl say use thin lube and i dont get why ppl lube tactiles with thin lube i just take their word for it
