    Who came after Wasim Akram said him the best batsman?

  • @siddhant3093

    I started following cricket in 1999. By that time he had retired. Though I had heard his name but had never seen him bat. What an amazing timer of the ball he was. With the old bats and longer boundaries, he still hit fours and six so easily. Must have been a treat to watch him bat live for viewers of those times. May his soul rest in peace..🙏

    Wasim in his recent interview: the best Batsman he bowl to was Martin Crowe , the way he use to level the reverse swing”

    • @aritramarketing1491
      @aritramarketing1491 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No, you are wrong. actually wasim bhai said Martine crowe is best batsman against wasim & Waqar's deadly reverse swing.
      But he said the greatest ever batsman that he bowled is Mr. Sunil Gavaskar. And In ODI's its Adam Gilchrist.

      @@aritramarketing1491 You're wrong here. Wasim Akram literally if he had to choose one batsman that he had the hardest time gainst it would be martin crowe.

      @@aritramarketing1491 Nahah !!! He changes his opinion in second depends on whom with he sitting and from where he is getting his pay, but mostly he rates overall Viv Richards as the greatest player he saw..

      much better than mark howard and scotty stevenson, they are awful to listen too they are jus cricket fans, fanboying their way through their commentary and Howards shrieking voice is horrific. Like i watch the big bash with the commentary off because of Howie and when sumo's on i just switch him off in NZ he's horrendous, worst commentators of all time. If Howie and sumo ever commentate together that would be the stuff of nightmares.

    Glorious batting and good piece of bowling at the end.
    (That lbw would have gone to TMO today and looked pretty plumb to me.Height the only possible issue.)
    As No Dan mentioned. to hear Wasim Akram state Crowe was the best batsman he ever bowled to was a great compliment.Crowe's career was cut short by a knee injury at a time when he looked like one of the very best .

    Is he really the best as the wasim said recently. Bcz his averages doesn't show that. But strike rate is good. I think i should give credits to him. Bcz the bowlers he used to play are far tough than nowm

    • @Painter19
      @Painter19 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes because he faced all the great bowlers on pretty average pitches. Average would be higher excluding his first and last series where he was batting on one leg
