One of the few videos that focus on the dog and comment on behavior.. a proper point of view as s handler.. thanks.. new to this sport but I am baffled why most videos follow the handler and dont show the dog working or not..

what age do you recomend starting with launchers?

That entirely depends on the dog and the level of socialization. It's less about age than the comfort level the dog has with the world that surrounds it. Even if the dog is very young but secure in its environment and is capable of dealing with new exposures confidently, then it might be ready. An older dog that's not confident in its environment and not mentally sure of itself may not handle the new exposure well, creating a fearful hotspot.
Basically, age is less of a concern as the assessment of a dogs confidence to new exsposures in a familiar environment indicates whether or not I would use launchers. Hopefully, that helps answer your question and appreciate you taking the time to post it!

The way you handle the pigeon and move it in the grass is borderline disturbing. I believe we can care for both our dogs and training birds just equaly. Otherwise, the video is good and full of good tricks. Thanks
