Oh girl! I only wish I could afford a full set of zig markers! I am still using my zig markers from 2001!!!!! Everyone of them still works and I cannot say the same for the stampin up markers I got from my friend that she bought the same time I got my zigs! So impressive!!!!!!

I like the new box with dividers. I made my own as well in black n white polka dots since my studio is black and white. But I just use SSS temporary tape runner to adhere a label on the outside so that if I ever need to change it or take it out, I don’t have to redo the whole laminated sheet. They peel off pretty well when needed but stay well too. I’m looking for a specific box or metal mesh basket for card panels in the making. So all the gel press panels and cards I started and changed direction. Some are card panel A2 and some half sheets. All meant to grab and add to later and turn into a card.
Cathy, loved this tutorial so much ! I so enjoyed, the "CPR" comment . . . Cause if you were doing CPR you would have to sing the "Staying Alive" tune🥰😅

How exciting that you’re moving into a new studio! Every time I attempt to clean my craft room, I find things I had forgotten I had. My goal for 2023 is to use what I have and not buy more. But let’s be real…I know I’ll buy more stuff. Maybe I can greatly reduce what new stuff I bring into the craft room. 🤞🏻
You could have used the purple cardstock from which you cut the sentiments!
Beautiful! I too have things stashed away that I haven't used it years. In the process of finishing the drywall in my studio...so hopefully soon I'll be able to get to some of the them. I've got a few years of cardmaking on you though as I've been demoing at rubberstamp conventions and making for over 20 years.

Your card is very pretty but I wasn’t clear about why you would emboss the snowflake and then cover up the embossing? What am I missing?

I have used the SSS greeting stamp set on all of my christmas cards this year ( 60 cards)
I love these cards so much, they are definitely in my top five favorites of yours! I've been making cards for about two years and am always learning. I have a design question for you. I don't usually put my sentiments on my focal points i.e snowflakes, a bouquet of flowers, etc. I usually put them in the open areas of the panel. For example on the first card, I probably would put my sentiments on the top left corner. Should I be putting sentiments on top of my elements and leaving more white space on the panel? I want it to be pleasing to the eye. 😊 Thank you!
I was going to ask that same question. A lot if designers put the saying on top if the design and not in white space. Good question.
My goal for craft room in the new year is to gut some part as I have some new shelves going in, Provided my ( father, who has recently passed away) I hope he will be happy that it will give me more room an tidy up my craft room at the same time, I am looking forward to it 😁😊

I've been thinking this for a while. You should do a die of "hot mess" & stamps or sentiment strips with it, like "I'm such a" , "sorry life is such a ... for you", "It may seem like a ...right now, but it will get better", "I may be a . . . but I am always here for you" etc. Hey, you pulled off a die of "oh crap!" (which I have). You can do anything!!

Kathy I have to tell you…when you started with your colors I thought that looked like a hot mess…. But they absolutely turned out gorgeous! Wow! Beautiful cards.
I was thinking rather than your heroic effort with the thin foam strips for the pieces at the snowflake center, you could put a single foam piece under the center (touching the points of all of the diamonds) and cover it with a gem or with your sentiment. But your cards are beautiful!
You could be an announcer at Bowling for Dollars…or a golf tournament! Love your ideas.

I was scrapbooking , years ago! I thought no way would they still work ! Every one of them were still great! I was really surprised!

When die cutting, are you supposed to run it through with the die up or down?
I do both, actually, and have great results both ways. I think on the Gemini instructions it says die blade up if you use their recommended sandwich.

I have heard that for the most dramatic effect from embossing is to rerun it after die cutting it out. Just what reviews I’ve read.
