Thank you so much Heidi, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunningly beautiful cards. And I can see how it would have you playing for hours and hours. Very addictive too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment x
What a brilliant technique, Heidi. Fabulous results and definitely one to try.
Thanks so much! Xxx
I really like the effect when you spatter the alcohol, it would make a lovely snowy effect for Christmas cards.
Oh it absolutely would x
Oh my gosh, you are responsible for me having another crafting addiction and i love it !!! Once you start you can't stop, thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
It's soooo addictive isn't it xxx
😂😂😂😂❤
I've done this technique a couple of years ago using some Chameleon alcohol pens and the effects are amazing. It you get some darker lines through the ink it looks amazing if you and foil as you get thin lines through the design (add foil once it has dried with a quicky glue pen or similar). Great tutorial Heidi thank you x
Thank you love....that would look lovely x
I love this, this way you have so much more control over the end result. 🤩
Thank you! 😊
Oh my goodness how much fun is this, I would never have thought about using my pens, and what fab results you get, thanks so much heidi 💗
You are so welcome xxxx
Once again I am very late in watching, but this is spectacular! It looks like these make up rather quickly too which is a nice change. I cannot wait to try this. Thank you Heidi!
Also if you run a glue stick over the red tape it gives you a bit of wiggle time when placing on the card base.
Enjoy love x
LOVE the alcohol splatter!!
Thank you Lois love x

Love the look of this technique & your great cards! Look forward to trying when I've got more than 4 inches of space on my "dinning" (🤣) table!! I always burnish the whole length of red liner to make sure its properly stuck & becomes easier to remove x
Thank you so much love xx
Wow!!! I absolutely love this!!
Thank you so much xxxx

P.S.- I went to TH-cam and looked at your other cards. Just subscribed to your channel ! 😊🐾🌵
Awesome! Thank you xxx
Hi, Heidi! Thank you so much! What a positive ray of sunshine i so needed. I bought alcohol pens a year ago, but never used them! I have had a blast with dies and die cutting after i found the right machine for me. I just did the Diamond Press Peacock. Oh, i never had so much fun with color and different papers. I think this alcohol ink on vellum might be fun with that, too. I appreciated you showing how to tape, too. I used glue on pattern vellum. It was a shockingly total disaster! I had never used it before or since. I will experiment wth plain and know how to use it now. Your idea is so easy, and you can't go wrong. It would be fun for kids, too. Hmmm
I am so excited to try this! I hope the pens did not dry out! This will be so much fun! I still have a bottle of alcohol left from covid. I have those frame dies and loopie ones waiting in my wish list, waiting for a shipping deal. But, i have other frames. This will be so much fun! Thank you so much. Really enjoyed you video! Blessings ❤ (NE Mountains Washington State USA).
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. I hope you have fun trying it out x

Oh I love this technique Heidi! Your cards are stunning! I don’t use my alcohol markers much now I have my Zigs to colour with, so I’m going to put them to use! I forget things all the time too! 😆❤
See I only use my pigs now so this was perfect x
Oops zigs haha
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter Haha….that made me chuckle. I instantly had a vision of you colouring with a pig! 🤣🐷❤

💕💕
Love these heidi
Thank you x
Thank you Heidi, I'll give that a go it looks fun idea. Cheers Suzanne
Oh it is x have fun x
Hi Heidi, from Adelaide South Australia 🥰🦘🦘 My dear Friend Pat from Wiltshire sent this video link to me. I think they are beautiful cards using these unique "💥 explosions" of colour. Favourite is one in dark blue frame with white dots! TFS🙏💐
You are very welcome x thank you so much for watching xxx
The problem I had with those sets of markers was too much choice - I guess I suffer from decision fatigue 😮. I gave my Copics to my niece and got the Tria 3 in ones and like them much better because the colors are already picked out.
Yh its a huge help when the colours are already done x
Amazing Heidi love it ❤ x and the best thing I don't need to buy anything else I have everything lol 😄 X thank you going to have a go straight away 🥰 xx
Hahahaha x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter had a go straight away and was late for getting in the shower and going out lol your fault 🤣🤣 x
So beautiful!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much x
Amazing cards Heidi-- love these very much and will ave a go to make one. 🌟🌟🌟
Tip for the tape ...when you have the red tape on the frame ,do remove the tape only a small piece and fold it to the outside and do this on the four sides. Put some glue on the pieces where is no tape. In this way you can slide the card on the background and when in place you can draw the loose ends to remove the rest of the tape. Hope it makes sence to you, otherwise I can make a picture to show what I wantbto say.
Happy Sunday to you and Andy.
Yes love I have seen it done lots...I need to try it x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter 💞
They are gorgeous Heidi ❤ 😊
Thank you x
Even i can do this. Great cards
Yayyyyy x
Wow Beautiful cards.
Thanks so much 😊
I had my headphones on listening to your tutorial. When you were embossing and blowing the excess powder off it was like you were blowing in my ear 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha that's funny x
Lovely as usual!
Thank you love x
Oh my word they are amazing!!! Xx. See you tonight xxx
Thanks love x see ya soon x
They are so pretty Heidi. I love alcohol inks but unfortunately they don't like me, I get to feel very sick even in a well ventilated room.
That's such a shame x
Hello.. wouah..!! Beautiful...😊
Thank you so much x
Beautiful 💜
Thank you! 😊
Some isopropyl in a spray bottle comes in handy.
Good idea x
Theses are great and I could see why it would get addictive, but I haven't got the liquid spray stuff (can't remember off hand what it is?). I do love them though x
The rubbing alcohol do ya mean? X
Oh Heidi they were stunning. The blue one which you just spattered the alcohol on jumped Christmas to me loved it. Heidi I’ve re watched and is the bright coloured one with a purple frame on backwards. Is the sentiment backwards.? Absolutely love these. Thanks and take care.
It’s at 52.36 on the video
No love I just checked and watched that part of the video and they are all correct x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter thanks Heidi at53 you turn it around and say oh I thought it was upside down. Solved. Thanks for taking the time to look. Silky me I must have looked away.
What is in the little dropper bottle please beautiful cards x
It's the gina k bottles x
The more you burnish it down the easier it comes off 😊
Thanks x
Your cards are lovely! I am definitely going to try my alcohol inks on vellum! What is the turntable you are using? And where did you get it?
It's creative craft and amazon but it's out of stock right now....I will put the link in our Facebook group when it's back in stock x
Forgot to ask where did you get your turntable thingy many thanks 💕
I got it off amazon....its sold out right now but I will put link in group when it's back in stock x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter thank you 💕
New subscriber here… I think I’m in awe…
Awwww thank you and welcome aboard x we are live tonight at 6 if you fancy joining us x
Could you please post the link for the stamp? Or just the name, I’ll find it
Love your work!!! Thanks from Australia xx
Which stamp love x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter the diamond and arches I think he said it was a spellbinder stamp. I’ve searched and I can’t find it. You stamped for you and then embossed it. It was beautiful.
Hi Heidi what size die did you use for your frame? Did you use the 2 largest ones?Really appreciate all the videos you do for us.Many thanks.x
Not sure the size love....its just under 5.5 x 4.25.....does that help? X
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter many thanks my frame looks a bit narrow .
Ze zijn geweldig 🥰
Thank you so much x
If I get my alcohol inks out I am gone for the rest of the day!!! You can use them on gel plates too.
I much prefer using the pens on vellum rather than the inks x
Beautiful fantastic idea plus they do look like flowers loveSuePxx
Thanks so much 😊
Please forgive me as I’m a newbie …
What is the round board behind your card work ?
What is that paint brush-like tool with the long spread out pieces resembling fingers that you tap onto your work ?
Is this a “splatter” brush ?
Thank you !
Julie
Canada
Hi its a splatter brush....fan brush.
The round board look up lazy Susan x
Black is made up of different colours so they seperate as you blow .
Amazing x
Heidi resisted skipping advertisement for “Who Gives a Crap “ toilet paper . It was worth it if you get the benefit.
Awwww thank you so much....well that's an ad I have never seen x
@@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter yes toilet paper wrapped in paper so no plastic
I always get purdy and fig. Nope I make my own 😂
We buy that toilet paper. They use sustainable materials and donate a percentage of their profits to installing toilets across the world. Love the name Who gives a crap 🤣
