You mention adding new photos using Favourites in iCloud but the note said you need to periodically stop the slideshow in order to download new content. what i don't get is if the iPad is mounted in a frame on the wall for example do I have to pull it apart to restart it every time I add a new favourite? was really hoping it would re-sync automatically.
Is it possible to do this with an iPad 2?
As an option - create a separate special album and call it Photoframe. What a shame that iPad 1 which I use is not synchronizing iCloud Photos anymore.
Can I think it with a Samsung phone I have all my pictures in Google photos but I like the idea how if I had a fever in my phone even though it's not an iPhone it would show up on the iPad any suggestions
Really cool photo frame...I have 2 old tablets and was trying to figure out the frame (without making one).
This didn’t work for me. I would airdrop pictures to the ipad, and I would get an error message on ipad that airplay kept failing despite it sounded like it went through. Had enough drive space, but ipad was easily 7 years old…..so I don’t think the new airdrop works with that old hardware well (maybe security issues?).
How will we do this now that iCloud is going away?
