Oh but how much we love when you go live.. No matter if its because its a big score or a story you need to tell us or mystery boxes we all just love to listen and laugh with you two. You both bring so much joy to so many people you are absolutely wonderful.
Wow!! A great day for electronics!! What a shame all those bananas been thrown away!! I hope the man that gets food out of the dumpster comes and gets all those bananas. You should ask him for his phone number so you can let him know when there is stuff in the dumpster. Thanks so much for sharing!! God bless and have a good night!! Hugs for Jerry!! Love you guys!! Happy diving!!
That first dumpster, when you pulled those first books out I saw red. I'm a writer and it broke my heart that a store throws out books that could go to a library. I'll bet those bananas were a recall. Interesting day. 😀👋
Bananas don't sell well looking like that. Stores throw them out like that all the time. Some stores will sell them at half price looking like that. They make the best bread and smoothies.
@@amandaupchurch2330 I'm surprised they don't all sell them cheep when they start getting like that. They're great for banana bread too. I guess we don't have stores big enough around here to have, let alone throw away that many bananas.
Those bananas are perfect for smoothies too. They just tossed them because they got a new shipment in and these are little too ripe. I have a friend who gets them from the dumpster, peels them, breaks them in half and freezes them in freezer bags. Then you put them in the blender frozen for smoothies. I've done it too. Works great.
Awesome find that stereo equipment pretty cool their bananas I would have made moonshine out of them for sure awesome video can't wait till your next adventure keep on diving
So glad you saved those electronics from landfill 👍 A real downer seeing all those lovely bananas in that dumpster 😞 So wrong! I hope someone else could save them. You do all you can. Keep up the great work 💛
WOW! Must be nice to be so wealthy that you can just throw money in the garbage.🤨 And the food! For shame....we could have had banana bread for weeks! Good haul guys...EYL🤗
Try carrying a two-step fold up ladder with you when you go to the dumpsters this way it will be easier for you to get whatever they can find out of there keep it in the van in the back remember extra plastic bags large ones and even the tall kitchen trash bags with ties and be sure to have treats for Jerry love y'all
What a shame I have electonics and I give it to recyclers instead of landfill. And workbooks i also go drop off to recycle boxes at schools for educational funding. Great work Steven & steph!
Que lindo essas bananas daria para muitos doces e ela amassada com farinha daria para alimentar muitas crianças rica em potássio. Deus meu que país é esse!!!
Seven and Steph you can freeze bananas right in the skin that way you always have banana to cook. Can freeze corn right in the husk too comes out great.
How do you find out if it's legal where you are? Why do Steve and steph never run Into security . Most dumpsters where Iive, are blocked off and or locked
If you have a 1/2 price books in your area you definitely should go check out their dumpster bins. It's insane what they are getting rid of at bookstores
I found 7 15 ounce containers of Planters dry roasted peanuts 4 brand new tooth brushes a nice basket with handle a lb. bag of life savers winter green. I was so excited i also found a brand new baby bag and lotion with baby soap and wipes they threw away because it had a rip on the packaging
Last nite ALDI dumpster loot : 6 x deep frozen half - fillets of Chilean wild caught salmon ( retail on average $35 a piece) , case of 12 frozen ravioli with porcini/truffles/assiago cheese ( "special" price sticker on the box : $ 4.79 per pack), case of 12 freshly squeezed OJ ( calcium and vit. D added) - retails at ca. $ 3.50 ea., case (24 x 18oz) of frozen red snapper vacuum packed fillets - retails at $ 9.99/pack, 2 cases ( 24 x 16 oz) of vacuum packed frozen orange roughie fillets - retails at $9.95 a pack , case of 12 bottles of genuine Canadian maple syrup - retails at $ 6.95 per bottle, last but not least: big box filled with variety of beer , most likely incomplete six packs - mostly imports; at home I counted 84 bottles ( good it's still chilly outside - I don't have enough room in my fridges). All frozen stuff still well frozen and vacuum packed. It means another malfunction of one of their freezers ( happens few times a year). Most of stuff ( except beer) will be donated to wife's Church pantry to feed the poor and homeless. It's our standard procedure . We are simply unable to process all of it at home ( eat and drink I mean). We're both in our 60s. Been trying to arrange for direct delivery from ALDI to the Church ( they even have nice size church bus) to no avail. Store manager told me that it's their "corporate policy" not to donate on fears of lawsuits in case of food poisoning. Good riddance , ALDI.
Steve and Steph you are just Earth ambassadors....you are saving the dumping sites... i just felt sad when Steph said 'there a lot of people starving out there...but here are the bananas wasting themselves here'
Bring that Speaker at 5:12 to a repairer! I'm sure they would fix that cut cord for pretty cheap. All the need to do is take of the back panel strip the plastic, and feed a new piece of wire through it then mask it off with some tape. Also tuck it into the speaker so that its not exposed! I'm sure you could flip that thing for some good money if you do that. :)
So nice to finally have time today to watch some of your TH-cam videos. I’ve missed you two these past 8 months. Crazy how many electronics that woman dumped. Have to say, I’ve been so unhappy at my “real job.” Cannot wait until summer when I can go back to reselling full-time. I think I need to take the leap and start reselling full-time permanently and quit my real job. I remember Steve talking about how unhappy he was before you guys started reselling full-time. I’m there now. HATE the bureaucratic bullshit that comes with my job. It makes work miserable. I loved reselling full-time last summer and chatting with all of you. Good luck with those electronics!! Such as waste of all of those bananas. Made me want to make banana bread.
Hi Kris, Sorry to hear your job is wearing on you UGH! Glad you are focusing on summer reselling! If you have a solid plan it will make you job easier and more tolerable lol.. We are cheering for you EYL
@MYHOLLANDGIRL Agree with you 100%, especially here in hot Malaysia. Anything cold and cooling... Sad to say, even banana split is hard to find (not too hard actually if you know where to look), but banana fritters or fried bananas you can find almost at every street corner throughout the country.
Love the chance, to wish and send you love,......while I’m waiting for homemade chicken soup, I’ve made a cup of fine coffee and excitedly couldn’t wait to come spend time watching youse, The Best .
I really love finding personal items:). I wonder if she worked at a store and was told to cut up cords and part of her job is disposing of said items. PS yay boom box !
@@DUMPSTERDIVINGADELAIDE123 hi, yeah this an is one!! It is fun to rewatch their older vids here though. ;) always entertained by Steve n Steph. Good day to you too. :)
Banana can make a vinegar and make catsup....most of filipinos like banana catsup and vinegar....banana vinegar is a first class vinegar in the philippines...
The electronics are missing the cords so that means that they are recycling the copper in them. But why not dump the cases in the plastics recycling. Thanks guys for saving the earth.
Just curious, when you rip open bags and gone through the stuff. What do you do after your done with the (garbage) that you don’t take? I am thinking that you create a lot more scattered garbage as the vin is dumped the loose stuff can blow away and create more litter. Just curious as I have not watched a video of yours before. I do like the video though.
Interesting thought..hmmmm..I just love them and all the videos. I have learned alot from watching them. I myself have only went like 3 times but honestly thats a good question/thought although there is always all kinds of loose trash in there already so I dont know..hmmmm
Perfect banana smoothies take 1 whole banana 2 cups of your fav type of milk a splash of cinnamon and nutmeg and 1 raw egg all in a blender and blend up. Great protein smoothie.
Hi Steve and Steph wow all those electronics crazy and Y don't these stores just donate food that was such a shame when people in the world don't even have food shameful stores happy diving 💕
Noice! I'd take those naners and give it to my garden/trees ...if my myna bird(the kind that talks) saw that she would have gone ape! she really liked over ripe bananas, those almost goey slimey ones! Sadly she died a couple years ago..yep still remember her whenever i see over ripe naners.
That is so stupid that these companies throw this stuff in the dumpster . They could have found a food bank in the area that would have took those bananas . If I worked at a TV station I would want to break these stores wide open for them being the dumbest . Any way nice finds today guys . Keep them coming. See yeah soon . Peace out . Makes me so mad I want to spit nails .
You know she might not have been dumping that stuff but cutting the cords because scrappers cut the cords off everything and it doesn't matter to them if the stuff is nice and probably worth way more together with the cord. That is the only problem I have with scrappers they destroy stuff that lots of people would like to have or find
The bananas may not be edible for people but if you had a contact for a pig farmer you could call them. They normal contact restaurants for the scraps from diners plates and pick them up daily for the pigs on their farm.
