What a good find. I found a small file cabinet. And put it 8n my car by myself and it was heavy. But God willing I did it. I still have it. Need too sell it. Looked online it's going for $350.00 to $400 and up brand new in the box
I can't for the life of me understand why the stores would get upset that you're rescuing all of that perfectly good stuff from the trash and, ultimately, the landfill! They should be ashamed of themselves for throwing away perfectly good school supplies instead of donating them to people in need. Wasteful!

That’s why some stores destroy the items before putting them in the trash. It’s a crying shame they won’t donate them to needy people. They could find a way to mark the items so people can’t try to return them. A permanent marker line across the bar code would work fine. Thanks Steph and Steve for saving so much usable stuff.
Some people ruin it for others because they throw stuff all over the ground and leave a mess - Consequently, the stores don't want ANYONE in the dumpster - I have seen crap from one end of a parking lot to another because some just threw stuff they didn't want out of the dumpster and never cleaned up - I agree the store should donate, but I guess throwing it away is easier

In my town, a furniture store started "Teacher's Warehouse". They collect donations and everything is free for teachers to use in their classroom. I'm not a teacher, but, I've heard that it is a massive warehouse.
